These people are the real deal, when they’re prepared to pay upwards of 25 million for a stop gap, it’s pinch yourself time. They're not finished yet this window either, exciting times.

Trippier’s deliveries to Wood will keep us up, fantastic signing exactly what we need in our predicament.

And weakens a direct rival in the process win win.

I don’t enjoy you Fanny

Well Sean Casey wasn’t Burnsie after all, actually came across as a decent lad.

Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)

Full house and tickets like rocking horse shit for this. The club is ready to take off, let’s hope the players can get their fucking selves up for this. -
Would take Rodon, but Levy would make Lille look like push overs in any negotiations.
-
Everyone is impressed with their plans when they speak to these people. We’re all desperate to stay up, probably them even more so. We can’t be taken for mugs by some French pricks, trust the process we’ve got the best owners in the league.
-
Aye, big shame what’s happened to him.
-
Howe used to use Brooks as a link up type of player, maybe in a 4-2-3-1 Cantwell links up the attack. Haven’t seen enough of him to judge, but in tandem with other new signings he might be a useful addition. We certainly need someone who can pick a pass in the final third.
-
Gerrard factor perhaps ? Whatever peoples view of Gerrard was, there’s no doubting he’s a big name manager. A lot of people turned their noses up at Gerrard due to Liverpool baggage, but the fact remains coupled with the excellent Michael Beale and Gary McCallister they’re a good set up.
-
Wood and Cantwell certainly don’t rock my boat, however we’ve got to consider are these the signings Howe has asked for. If we can’t get the likes of Isak at the minute and these lads keep us up then job done. We have enough money to overhaul again in the summer and get the targets to take us really forward. However, if Howe is pushing for these type of signings with PL experience, then the club are backing the manager and that’s all we can ask in our current position. As I said they wouldn’t be my choices and if Howe is picking these targets, then he’ll be culpable as simple as that if it goes tits up

We might have big problems on the pitch but nothing to worry about with the ownership. Yes they’ll make mistakes, but the difference is they’re genuine mistakes and have the clubs best interests at the forefront of everything. If we get relegated they’ll rebuild and bring us back. For all I’m still fuming at yesterday, I’d still bite your arm off to be where we are today than back in September.

No doubt about it I think a lot of fans are now done with these players. Pre takeover our focus was on Ashley and Bruce, however what’s become evident is that the players have been very comfortable and happy with the holiday camp approach. For the sake of trying to stay up I’ll get behind them next week as we owe the owners and manager that much, but I personally think another performance like yesterday and some of them will get dogs abuse next week. How any player cannot get up playing for this club at the minute beggars belief, they better fucking deliver next week or they’ll deserve all the vitriol heading their way. -
Almost as important as a striker and defender. To be in a situation where Shelvey is undroppable due to the other options available says it all.

Without a doubt, If Ritchie is picked again at left back this season serious questions need asking of the management. -
Possibly, I think Nickson spent a longtime working on the Almiron deal though. Agreed, we desperately need someone in to oversee the football operation who knows what they’re doing.
-
It’s a fucking mess, Ashley and Bruce have left the club on it’s knees. Losing is now ingrained in the mentality of the club and we don’t even know how to beat a league 1 side. The whole mentality of the club needs reset and it’s going to take time. What does concern me currently is Nickson running the scouting, he’s responsible for Almiron and Joelinton and shouldn’t be near recommending players. Tripppier was a no brainer, but if where going for overseas targets, this cunts recommendations concern me massively. Massive rebuild needed and they’ll deserve huge plaudits if they get us out of this.
-
Not only character but some basic football intelligence wouldn’t go amiss either.

Spot on, since day 1 of this takeover the fans have been buoyant and revelling in being able to support the club again. Unfortunately, the players bar maybe 1 or 2 clearly couldn’t give a fuck. I’ve listened to folk who say it’s to do with a lack of ability and simply not being good enough, today for me proves that’s simply not true. These players haven’t responded to the unprecedented euphoria around a club following a takeover and subsequently a change of manager. Yes we’ve had some bad luck and certain calls go against us, but the lack of real response to the backing they’ve received in recent weeks is unforgivable. I get the impression some of the cunts we’re quite happy under the previous regime and don’t share our enthusiasm for this takeover. The new owners and support deserve far better than these spineless cunts. Today was a fucking disgrace and hopefully the majority of these players won’t be darkening our door for much longer.
-
One of the best things about the takeover is the club reconnecting with fans and ex players. I can’t wait for a certain ex-manager to return, the place will erupt if they bring him out. Probably best saved for a big home game in the run when the place will be raucous.

Love seeing the old players back at the club.

No slip ups today please. Want to see a dominant performance from Joelinton with end product. Anderson to burst on the scene and announce his arrival. HTFL
