  1. Be great to see St Jame’s free of the tat today, whatever the score.
  2. Look forward to every game these days. Where once this would be a fixture which cements my disillusionment with NUFC, I’m now actually looking forward to it in the knowledge that we’ll soon be able to compete with this lot. A full house just before crimbo and you just never know. Regardless, probably be the last game for a couple of weeks and by that time the transfer window will be open. Exciting times ahead HTFL
  3. Never seen Kelly play but the stats say he’s vitally important for Bournemouth.
  4. Aye, give it a few years and they’ll reinvent history that we never had 50k crowds pre takeover.
  5. Always chuckle at the 1992rs craic that they cling to. What they’re forgetting is we still had bigger crowds and Durham was infested with thousands of mags pre 92. They also fail to acknowledge the fact that pre SOL they struggled to get 20k for games at Roker, even when they we’re back in the PL under monkey heed.
  6. Exactly, now is not the time to bring in an Emmanalo, the long term planning is for the summer. We’re in a fire fight right now, the best people to judge what we need at the moment are the people on the ground.
  7. Aye, the full backs also have to be a priority if Howe is going to play 4 at the back. So much to do in so little time.
  8. Whilst 2 centre backs are an obvious priority, we’ve got to inject something into central midfield. Nickson seemed to have some good targets lined up in this area last summer. I can see us going back in for Kamara and Cajuste, both would be unproven in PL but look the business in terms of being good footballers and athletic. We’ve also been linked with Fofana at Lille who looks a real powerhouse. They all look realistic, should improve our midfield massively and don’t put us up shit creek for FFP. Get 2 out of these 3 and I think that’s our midfield sorted for next couple of years. edit I also get the feeling that PIF though having a clear long term business plan, might just rip up that playbook for this Jan. I think we’ll see a massive bid for a striker, possibly Vlahovic or Nunez from Benfica. Both at clubs where money talks and might just be attainable if we strike at right time.
  9. Just pissed off with some in the current team and the constant mistakes. Possibly harsh from me and ability is definitely the overriding problem.
  10. It’s an honest take and history tells us if we’re on 10 points come the 1st January we’ve got a mountain to climb. The transfer window gives us one last chance, but let’s be honest even with these owners it’s going to have to be some transfer window. We literally need a whole new back 4 and central midfield. Not to mention a top class striker if we want to insure against Wilson being injured. The lack of football intelligence in this squad is a major issue, highlighted by individual errors in every game.
  11. Badges are massive disappointment on these kits. Compare them to stitched badges on adidas shirts, they look cheap and nasty.
  12. Fucking great back to that useless cunt Ritchie.
  13. Back to Matt fucking Ritchie at left back aswell for next few games. Unlikely to pick up anything before transfer window opens, going into Jan on 10 points is a mountain to climb. We really are now relying on other teams having a shit December, or Covid giving us a reprieve. We needed to be on 15 points at turn of the year for me. These players have let the new owners and fans down massively, the sooner most of them are slung out the fucking door the better.
  14. No Van Dijk happy days. 0-1 jingle bells jingle bells……
  15. Be interested to know how independent this company is that’s been chosen to determine a fair value. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-10310421/Newcastle-Manchester-City-LEGAL-action-new-commercial-deal-rules.html
  16. The worst thing in the last 14 years has been this club just bending over and taking it up the arse. Look at the Andy Carroll sale what a fucking deflating experience that was at the time. Who wants a club that when you reach a certain level, the big clubs just pick your best players off. Where heading into this transfer window wondering who we’re going to sign for the first time in years. These owners won’t bow to anyone, sure we’ll get all the stories about Staveley being clueless punted by the nationals, but the truth is they’re rattled to fuck. We might be shit on the pitch at the minute, but the worm will start turning big time for us in next few weeks.
  17. What’s even worse than the 5 clubs is the 13 other clubs who have gone along with this. None of them can see the bigger picture of these cunts trying to pull up the drawbridge and protecting their CL income. They’re all just consumed by self interest and probably accept they’ll never compete, so are happy to condemn us to also rans aswell. At the minute the 13 would rather see the 6 keep their place and us be relegated. This is the same 6 clubs who want the CL places to be stitched up regardless of league placing with UEFA. It’s all well and good saying this doesn’t really bother me and we’d rather be a West Ham or a Leicester and grow organically. However, where that falls down is when one of these 6 clubs comes along and takes your Tielmans or Declan Rice and you can’t do fuck all about it. That’s why I’m unashamedly still fucking delirious that not one of those fucking clubs will ever steal one of our players again. Because put simply they couldn’t fucking afford to. How do you grow organically when Liverpool steal Bobby Clark and Chelsea link up with a school in our fucking city to steal the best young talent. Nah fuck organically announce Aramco in an 80 million deal tomorrow and let the fuckers try and stop us.
  18. I think we’ll put this to the test immediately and announce some big deals. Reject them and they’ll be facing another anti competition case.
  19. And so it begins it’ll be the likes of Salah soon. The revolution will be televised. https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/newcastle-liverpool-coaching-staff-mark-leyland-b1975990.html
  20. Who put the signs in the fucking skip O’Briens O’Briens
  21. Exactly the type of player we need in middle of the park. Has to be an absolute priority alongside defenders. This bloke and Kamara from Marseille would give us a new dynamic for 2nd half of season. https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/newcastle-transfer-fofana-new-toure-25690250
