Keep seeing this…when did they decide the ends? How do people know where to buy for?

Why do they go on about the league one play off final like it was some defining and historic day, something they wouldn’t swap back for all of the world? Am I missing a bit they’re doing or something?

Fly in from Turkey to London on the Saturday to a hotel by where I used to live in Archway.. Have a week’s holiday in Newcastle starting on the Monday so timings have worked out well. Meeting my dad and friends on the Saturday, drinking. Season ticket holder with only a couple of points and only used the season ticket for Southampton. Have a feeling I won’t get a ticket from the club, debating whether or not to splurge on a dodgy one.

Presumably it will only be games you bought on your ticket. I’m in a similar position- went to tranmere and Palace at home but didn’t use my ticket to buy them.

I’m sorry, like, but in terms of customer loyalty, somebody who put nine hundred quid in at the beginning of the season deserves first dibs ahead of somebody who paid twenty quid to get tickets to hardly unappealing cup games against Premier league opposition.

It’s happening

In the frenzy of the last few minutes and the goal and the red card and then the whistle, it didn't register as such in the moment....but that Isak miss with pretty much the last kick keeps popping up in my mind. I truly hope that I'm not thinking about it after tomorrow.

Would it be difficult to find out how many season ticket holders we have? They took them off sale in September 2021, a year or so after that daft scheme to give ten thousand of them away for free. There was an additional one thousand sold in June 2022. 33k sounds about right to me, it would surprise me if we had many more than that going into Bruce and Ashley’s new season. Surely some journalist or the trust could just ask the club for the figure? It’s not a secret is it?

Haha, remember noticing this at the time and wondering if it was some mystical thing that all keepers can just weirdly do, in the same way that wherever I am in the kitchen I can always lob the teabag straight into the cup.

Ready to go is interesting because if you have a few Sunderland supporting mates, you can spot the ones who read it and those that don’t. I have one otherwise very sensible friend who uses their lines and it’s slightly embarrassing for him when it’s pointed out.

Yeah, seems a bit of daft objection really. They had WiFi at Brighton and I didn’t notice anybody ignoring the match because of it. Also made meeting people a lot easier.

I remember in one game when his analysis was about to amount to ping it long up front. ‘Get it into the mixer’ level stuff. The thing is, he realised this as he spoke and so, laughing, said ‘Get it up to the big man.’ The joke, you see, was that a suave pundit like him would never resort to such base analysis. Notwithstanding, of course, that he had done just that and had nothing further to add to the point, despite the chuckle implying that of course he did, because he is Gary Neville. It was the single smuggest thing a pundit has ever said- does he think he has some reputation for learned game analysis? Like the only way he can make a glib comment is if it comes with a satirical tint.

Am I imagining it, or is our record there actually quite decent? Remember a Cabaye inspired 3-0 there just before Christmas one year.

I’m sure you were just excited about your unassailable logic here, that there was no snide implication meant, and that you are a lovely person, but do you think you could give the 1989 stuff a rest? Because with your clever little point you are coming very close to saying something deeply offensive, stupid and shit. Just stuck to praising Sunderland on the other thread to show how much you actually care about this issue.
