The way these lot play, remind me of what Brighton and Villa do to us. They let us have the ball, lure us in, play a pass through the static lines and exploit our man to man marking / pressing

I think we go with a similar set up to the last match day with Willock coming in and Gordon playing centrally. I’d start Elanga instead of Murphy as he deserves to keep his place from the weekend to build some sort of form

I still get annoyed that we sold two players (Anderson and Minteh) for half the price of the two that replaced their positions in Ramsey and Elanga. And you could argue that the quality is far lower too - this makes such a mockery of financial fair play

Echo everything everyone else is saying, but I always look at certain achievements / milestones that we need to hit. I’m talking about consistently getting between 20-25 league wins in a season, hitting the 70 point mark as a start, having a very strong goal difference, going to Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool and beating them. That sort of stuff gives us confidence and something to build on - that’s why winning the trophy this year was very welcome for progression as we proved we can be winners

I’m pretty sure that Bruno will play both games with Tonali and will swap Joelinton for Ramsey when we play Spurs. I suspect Elanga and Barnes will play too

Win this game and beat Forest at home on Sunday and I’m certainly feeling a lot better about the season
