Attenborough is old and white and still going in his 90s. Because he isn’t a cunt.

The grubby East Stand is still an eyesore.
  3. Absolutely bonkers, how the PL is still dealing with these complete charlatans makes a mockery of D&O and PSR: Right at the beginning of our investigation, one former employee of 777 Partners told us the company “operates by constantly making new investments” and that “everything is cross-collateralised”. Another described the firm’s operations as “a giant shell-game” where money is shunted around the various companies in the group. But the shells appear to have stopped moving. Former lenders are now calling in debts, new money is not coming in, and new investments are not being made. Without the Everton deal to attract new capital, it may well be 777 Partners and not the debt-ridden Premier League club (*), which ends up needing life support.
  4. Ekitike, Pedro and Isak - quite rangy types of players who could theoretically play multiple roles across the frontline. Would have loved two of three but BHA’s price for Pedro will be extortion and Wor Hugo seems to have an agent/attitude problem.

Day by day they get weirder with their mackemness.
  6. Surprised with the Man Utd lot as I thought US owners were up for this.
  7. They’re absolute wrong uns.
  8. Was speaking to someone about a role in Saudi recently and they’re saying they are going quite hard on people flying in and out from Dubai and want people in roles to be KSA not Lower Gulf based.
  9. Screamed dystopian future.
  10. His first double season had characters like Dixon in it, hardly shy of a tackle as Daveed G will attest to.

99/00 - the year Phillips won the Golden Boot. They beat Chelsea 4-1 at home and iirc drew 2-2 with Man Utd. Went off a cliff in the New Year. I’m still bitter we let that late equaliser in at their place. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1999–2000_Sunderland_A.F.C._season
  12. Last two matches the cunt has been fucking ear splitting. Like that one who was at Arsenal back in the early 2000s.
  13. Unless you were alive back in 1947 and watching the games you won’t have seen the only side we’ve scored more against in a season - Newport County and the 15 goals we scored against them. 13-0 at home win but lost 4-2 away. Net +11. Whereas we’ve done the Blades by +12 (8-0, 5-1). Can’t think of any worse off the top of my head. Sheff Wed was +10 in 99/00 - Swindon, Notts County, Leicester may have got into double figures under KK.
  14. It’ll be tight- possibly need a similar result to Brighton (h) last year to get us over the line.
  15. Top flight maybe but in terms of PL: United have scored 74 goals in the PL, the most we've netted in a 38 game PL season along with 2001/02 season. The only higher total than that was 82, during the 46 game 1993/94 campaign. In terms of home games only, Eddie Howe's side have 48 to their name. That's their third-highest total, exceeded only by 54 (1996/97) and 51 (1993/94).
  16. Triple captained Isak, finally a positive one after a couple of weeks of Salah inducing misery.
  17. Brighton and Burnley are the two you look at and think we’ve got to win. A draw v Man Utd would be solid. Wouldn’t like to be going to Brentford needing 3 points despite our decent recent record there.

A dull end-of-season affair between two mid-table sides was settled by a moment of quality midway through the second half. Sounds delightful from the Beeb’s match report.
  20. I’m sure Douglas mentioned him ages ago.

Yey! More student accommodation, just what’s needed.
  22. That’s a monumental fuck up by Leeds last night. Saying that, Ipswich could quite easily get no points from Hull away and Coventry away. Providing Ipswich are ahead of then going into final day v probably relegated Huddersfield at home they should do it.
  23. Financial cut off period for FFP/PSR purposes isn’t it?
