Exactly. Only bad thing is one of those games is Man City in the cup which is our last chance of winning anything this season.
-
Think it’s a robust team in the circumstances, ignoring the obvious Tino-Burn, Miley-Longstaff debate. The bench actually looks quite strong. We’re short Pope, Wilson, Tonali and Joelinton but we have a lot of options compared with the Gillespie, Parkinson, Diallo, Ndiewini days of November and December.

Cockney drip Parish has tried to fuck us over at every turn.

Out very own Newcastle Online Liz Truss v the lettuce competition.
-
Home draw this time around though Froggy, argument and point deemed invalid lad.
-
Say it again motherfucker, I dare you, I double-dare you.

Can’t see Brighton winning it, the injuries are now racking up.

I’m really hoping we have some sort of get out clause here and that’s what’s stopping him playing. Otherwise, it has to be the most nonsensical piece of business we’ve done in years.
-
That’s my thinking too. Fairly turgid game.

Hoping they have a similarly long game at the Amex as we did last night. Cunha, Sarabia and Neto getting niggly injuries would help too. Otherwise, O’Neil will be setting up to absolutely expose that left hand side. His Monday Night Football appearance earlier in the season shows he’s got definite smarts around weakness identification and subsequent exploitation of it. Our current malaise would be catnip to him.

And physically - he just bounces opposition players. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and Jo being out definitely makes me appreciate his value to the team and system of play.

Newcastle United and Tottenham are keen on 25-year-old Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush, an Egypt international who has scored 10 goals in 18 Bundesliga games this season. (Bild via Shields Gazette)

I mean more in the sense that he’ll be fresh rotation meat to go at and beyond an already flagging full back. The philosophy of the signing was sound but the reality has played out unfortunately since Harvinho broke his velociraptor foot.
-
He was always a player for Howe’s “intensity is our identity” system rather than anything else. Run Gordon into the ground for 60-65 mins then Barnes comes on to do the same to the opposition right back.

Proper 50 pence piece heed. Was frustrating the life out of me. He’s got the best heading advantage known to man being the footballing equivalent of the BFG but launching the ball at him is like one of those cricket catching practice machines that fires the ball off on different angles.
-
Did well when he came on, far better than Murphy who was complete dogshit.
-
Hindsight 20:20 and all that. We do have to be slightly more aggressive sellers though.
-
Think the Scabs will be too busy in a post relegation FFP fire sale to take him.

They’ll be delighted their season is still alive through being able to watch us. Combination of being voyeurs and living vicariously through NUFC. They’re basically Scotland fans when England play in a World Cup.
-
Definitely don’t want Slothgate picking him for the March round of internationals. Him and Isak need to rest up for two weeks and go again for the last dozen or so games of the season.
-
He needs to start thinking creatively. Rest a few this weekend too, they’ll be absolutely done.
