Unbelievable
Didn't realise he told the BBC that we'd trained all week with five at the back and only a last minute injury to Haidara changed that, meaning 'we didn't have the right balance'. Pardewesque.
Klaus
I hate English football managers. The likes of Pardew, Allardyce, Mcclaren actually make me hate football.

Shearergol
I hate English football managers. The likes of Pardew, Allardyce, Mcclaren actually make me hate football. This is it for me too. Some proper arrogant wankers refusing to take the game forward, just because British is best. I can't think of many English managers I actually like. Pardewesque. Got to be fucking kidding me No wonder the team was so shit! So they trained one way all week only to then be told to play the system that has failed us all season, without even being prepared to do so?! Honestly that is unacceptable. Should be sacked for that alone.

DJ_NUFC
"the killer goal was the fourth" After taking oiff Perez for Lascelles. The amount of muppets on here who were saying that he was doing ok and progress was being made was unreal a few weeks ago. I bet not many of those people are saying a jot right now, though I do see some one or two have changed their mind also - welcome to the real worls. Is this guy for real? I hope you're not married as I would feel sorry for any woman married to such a smug cunt constantly waiting for her to be wrong about any given thing so he can eternally lord it over her and flash his "I told you so!" tattoo. Minhosa
Why would you train all week for a 3 at the back system when they played one up front on Monday night against the Mackems. And that one is Connor fucking Whickham.

nufc4eva
We will go down this year, no doubt in my mind now. We just have nothing and the management can't get the basics right. There is zero drive or tempo. We need to strip the club down and start again

I didn't hear his full quote, just heard fat gimp ask if he'd have gone 5 and he said they'd tried it on Weds. Dave
Pearce: Would you have played a back five had Haidara been fit, you could have used him as a left wing back? McClaren: Absolutely, we worked on that on Wednesday and unfortunately last kick of the session he came out so we kind of didn't have the right balance. We had to go to that obviously in the second half but the game was gone, especially after the fourth. Fairly weird question to just come out with randomly. Memphis
Not the biggest problem we have, but certainly a big one. Players don't even pretend to give a shit under his tutelage. ujpest doza
“We made individual errors, the killer goal was the fourth. We wanted a reaction, I think we got that. The players were focused, we made some errors.” Fucking hell. Dear Me, I'm pretty sure we scored against the run of play in the 1st place as well. nemtizz
Steve McClaren: 'We wanted a reaction and I think we got that' - is that real? “We made individual errors, the killer goal was the fourth. We wanted a reaction, I think we got that. The players were focused, we made some errors.” Fucking hell. You must have made that up? That's what I thought, but it's true. http://uk.reuters.com/article/2015/11/28/uk-soccer-england-cry-new-idUKKBN0TH0MR20151128 "We made individual errors, but the killer goal was the fourth," the much-travelled former England manager, who joined Newcastle last summer, told Sky Sports. "It is disappointing. We wanted a reaction and I think we got that. The players were focussed and ready but we made some errors and Crystal Palace capitalised. "It is about hard work, working for each other, attitude, running backwards as quickly as you run forwards. After the third goal we didn't do that. "We have got 25 games to go and we are in a relegation fight, no doubt about that. But we certainly have to work hard on the training field again and look for a reaction again." Maybe the reaction to the reaction will be to lose 8-0.
