Superior Acuña
Can see Rafa being interested in an ambitious Newcastle. Ashley's Newcastle?! Moreover, Ashley paying the money and giving Benitez the control he wants?
Ronaldo
One slight advantage regarding Benitez is that if he really wants to manage in England again, there aren't that many options open to him. Man U and Chelsea, no. Perhaps Spurs if Poch is knicked. Everton too perhaps. Why would he manage Everton?
Dinho lad
Doesn't mean that we'll approach him.
mrmojorisin75
If you go for Benitez at this point it's surely only a ten game offer then take the gamble that he keeps us up, the players and fans get behind him and he decides to give it a go. Trying to sell him on a 3 year deal or whatever seems like a tall order for this set of cunts unless they're literally gonna offer him £100m to spend however he likes, control of everything and a competitive salary. B-more Mag
It's a nonstarter, really. Ashley's fucked himself by being a lying cunt and letting everybody know he's a lying cunt. Anybody with an existing reputation who's worth their salt would steer well clear or require assurances Ashley either wouldn't give or which would take substantial effort to negotiate. Mattoon
Give Benitez a 10 game contract with heavy incentives and the option of making it permanent, bend over backwards for him if we have to, it's time they realised the shoestring budget yes man option will never work and Carr is past his sell by date. We need a proper manager with autonomy to get out of this mess.

Dokko
If Rafa came in for 10 games then we've got 10 games to make damn sure he falls in love with the club and get him to stay. It's possible, if Ashley does his part and hands over transfer control and managerial title. The really sad thing about this is if we had a half decent board it's not beyond the realms of possibility. :'(

Man U and Chelsea, no. Perhaps Spurs if Poch is knicked. Everton too perhaps. No chance he'd go to Everton with his Liverpool history.
