I'm not gonna believe anything until I see a picture of him on nufc.co.uk grinning outside the Milburn reception of SJP.  Possibly pointing at the f*** off big crest in there, I dunno...

Ha ha sounds good to me.

Just read the article talking about it on TeamTalk and it says Diaby is also looking for more football, it take him aswell, I'd be more than happy with most the Arsenal reserve team.

I get a feeling Diarra might happen.

We are starting to get the usual clues;

Player wants out

We confirm our interest

Noone says its been rejected

Wengers hinted at an exit in his programme

Sam says he hopes to have someone in by the weekend

I reckon if we put a solid bid in, he'd be ours. So long as other clubs dont get there first.

according to wikipedia hes a defensive mid or right back. on those grounds no. i mean come on, what are we gonna do have smith or butt going forward? geremi was one of these and i dont want another the same.

according to the real world, he's better in various aspects than all our CMs

Left out of tonights squad

Big Sam asked for Diarra to be left out of the squad tonight. He went on to say

"I have asked for Diarra to be left out of tonights game. I do not want him to get used too accustumed to playing one touch-two touch, creative football"

I know this is from The Sun but.....

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

NEWCASTLE last night agreed a £5.5million deal for Lassana Diarra — just hours after sacking Sam Allardyce.

Now Toon chairman Chris Mort hopes to persuade the French international to sign a four-year contract worth £35,000-a-week.

Midfielder Diarra, 22, is still not sure whether to move to St James’ Park and wants to see if Tottenham will match the offer.

But Arsenal will not lower their price for a player who cost them £2.5m from Chelsea last August.

Diarra wants to leave the Gunners as he has started just four league games this season.

He was left out of Arsenal’s Carling Cup semi-final squad last night while negotiations continued and would be eligible for Toon’s FA Cup replay against Stoke next Wednesday

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
