If we are going for him i just hope its not too much.

At least then when he breaks down he didn't cost a fortune and we didn't line the pockets of the Boro while doing so.

Always good to fleece them of a player, whatever the circumstances.  ;D

What's keeping him out currently (of the football team that is)?

He's sussed Southgate is a tool and a shite manager and isn't performing for him because he's too good for Boro.  O0

If this is all bullshit, its because he's out of form and always picking up injuries.

Just depends.

If true a great sigining

Having the name Woodgate on the team sheet is a psychological boost for us and a jolt to the opposition.

Fitness seems to be improving. In his prime as a centre half.

No-brainer for less than 10mil

Hamstring.

Would this be a different injury to the thigh injury that kept him out for years and, tbf, mostly accounts for his poor injury record? If related then, even should he sign, we wouldn't be seeing much of him.

Im quite happy about this transfer (if its true), Imo we have some decent defenders at the club so we wont be relying on him so much, when he was here he was fantastic but when he wasnt fit we were a shambles at the back, I think with the likes of Faye, Taylor and Casapa if we got Woody we wouldnt need to play him every game even if he is fit.

Id say woodgate current injury is much like Sholas knee injury under Sam.....just a covering letter

Ill be happy with Woddgate and even happier knowing the smoggies are losing him. In a ideal world they sell him trying to raise cash to buy alves how in turn tells them to get stuffed :) then Wheater walks off come the summer and catermole gets hit by a ore train at whitehouse level crossing.....thats the one outsidew the stadium

tbh if we got Van Buyten in on loan would we even need woodgate?

I'd maybe rather spend a hefty fee on an attacking midfielder......but maybe he'll do that too, who knows, we're all in the dark

if we are going for a defender may aswell splash for per metersacker (spelling?) of werder bremen

Please give Cacapa and Roz a bit of time to settle down.

It is difficult living away from home. They need time to adapt to the environment and the style of EPL too. We should be welcoming them, encouraging them and helping them to adapt. The least we could do is to undermine them and throw them out. Imagine people treating you that way when you did not have the time to adapt to a changing environment and as such has not tried to perform to your best yet. Observe more before jumping to any conclusion.

Please people out there... don't be so impatient and considerate to others too. It's really not easy to be away from home especially the first time.

Regards,

Ericz

Cacapa has been away from Brazil for years & Roz has left home a while ago as well. Your making excuses for them. Bramble & Dawson have been playing in the EPL for years & they dont seem to be getting better. I do belive they need more time, mainly to see if the odd good game is the rarity or the piss poor games.
