Guest
I'd imagine it'll be at least 2 weeks before he's fit to play a match.
SteveMc
He's probably waiting to see if a PL club comes in for him. Don't forget he is not constrained by the window
Fenham Mag
Hes probably been keeping himself fit so he's a more attractive proposition.
Guest Heneage
No way this club will get Loven in for Monday, I've yet to see any football club pass through a deal over the weekend for a monday game.

durhamunigeordie
Haven't seen him play hardly at all but going on reputation alone hopefully would do a job in the CCC.

James
Win or draw and we go top and Hughton wins MOTM. Lose by two goals (low scoring game), go down to fifth 1 point off top, West Brom go top Lose by three goals, go fifth 1 point off top and Leicester go top. Quite a big game compared to some now, although not the end of the world if we lose.
Chrisjraby
I didn't realise Leicester were doing as well as they are! It's so vital we win this game to get a little cushion at the top. Any more news on Shola yet?
Pilko
Bit of a crock though. Bit?!?! The boy is a fucking perma-sicknote.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
If all our strikers are out (Except Ranger but he's proved largely ineffective so far) it might be interesting to see how Smith would play as a striker nowadays
Big Geordie
If we are to play Ranger, then the kid needs support up front. I'd be tempted to put Smith up there for the young'un to play off. That would leave Guthrie and Nolan in the middle. Problem is left midfield - Lua-Lua to replace Jonas?
Chrisjraby
Isn't Barton set to return? He could possibly play on the left, although Kazenga seems to have given a reasonably good account of himself so far doesn't he? I think we're probably most likely to see Nolan playing off Ranger and then Smith/Barton/Guthrie/Raylor/Geremi in some sort of midfield four combination. Toon_Crazy
These are the games you need to win if you have aspirations of promotion. This. Win your home games and you can afford to drop a few away from home, this should be a win. Maybe a scrappy one though.
Jayson
They only managed 1-0 over Barsley who are bottom & drew 1-1 with ipswich. Their other win is swansea who are 18th. So i wouldnt be to worried, their best result is the draw v sheff united. They havent played anyone that good yet, we should win.
