Steve Harper rejoins NUFC as Academy coach

Yeah, I've changed my opinion on this. No one involved with the club seems comfortable with him in goal. Everything he does is two or three times slower than it should be. It's not an indictment of him. At this point in his career, he isn't good enough for this level of football, and unlike some others in the team, he cannot hide.

Done. Well and truly, unfortunately. Would be nice to have him as an able back up but that's just emotion. The fact we have him and Elliot as back ups is almost as bad as having no decent back up CBs.

If he was a horse he would have already been shot.

Those two dribbling actions from him

Apart from that, he got close to the first one which is just a hint that Krul would have probably saved it. Second goal was our defenders mistake but could have done better there, too.

He's bloody useless.

Pathetic at Reading for both goals, should never have been beaten by Cleverley and lucky not to be made a fool of by Welbeck. He's a walking accident.

He saw the third one the whole way and it wasn't particularly fast. From where I was sat I thought he should have saved it.
