tomlkier
http://www.sundaysun.co.uk/sport/newcastle-united/nufc-news/2011/05/08/newcastle-united-are-courting-thibaut-courtois-79310-28652320/? Newcastle United are courting Thibaut Courtois NEWCASTLE are monitoring Belgian goalkeeping prodigy Thibaut Courtois. Goalkeeper coach Andy Woodman has paid a personal visit to watch Racing Genk’s rising star Courtois in action in recent and was impressed by the 18-year-old, who has already made 28 appearances in the Belgian top flight. Although unlikely to be an immediate option for United – who will choose between Fraser Forster, Tim Krul and Steve Harper next season – it is clear that Newcastle are putting long-term plans in place and Courtois may be viewed as a future goalkeeping option. Manchester United have also watched Courtois, who made his first-team debut aged just 17, while Anderlecht are rumoured to be keen on him. Boss Alan Pardew is adamant that he won’t be signing a goalkeeper this summer, but continues to be linked with Coventry’s out-of-contract keeper Kieran Westwood. Indeed sources in the Midlands remain adamant that the Republic of Ireland stopper, out of contract at the end of the season, is on Newcastle’s radar. But it may be that Pardew is merely covering his bases in case he loses one of his goalkeepers, who are all keen on first-team football. Forster, who will return from Celtic next month, is wanted at Parkhead on a permanent basis. and Premier League newcomers Norwich remain keen admirers. Cajun
Us and Sunderland linked with Demba Ba if West Ham go down. From his performances since he signed for them he would look a very good acqusition, he won't be expensive so him and a very good forward in the summer would bring us on massively. Tooj
I can't see O'Hara wanting to come here to be used as a squad player, which is all he would be.
Chicken Dancer
Creativity is a rarity in our squad This. Rely far too heavily on Barton in terms of assists and crosses. O'Hara would be a fantastic addition, huge step up from Guthrie. But can't see Nolan, Barton, or Tiote being dropped to accomodate him like.
Big Geordie
Am sure O'Hara was linked last summer, but his brain dead wife (Danielle Lloyd) wouldn't come up here.

Cajun
Am sure O'Hara was linked last summer, but his brain dead wife (Danielle Lloyd) wouldn't come up here. Pretty sure that's one of those myths that will be spouted forever, even when he is 34 and playing for Celtic.
Ghandis Flip-Flop
Am sure O'Hara was linked last summer, but his brain dead wife (Danielle Lloyd) wouldn't come up here. And yet he went to Wolverhampton, not exactly Monaco is it?

Cajun
Would be a bit of a 'meh' signing imo. Same, think he is a decent player but for some reason I would be more excited by the much more risky Ireland.
Chrisjraby
Some loon on Talkshite linking us with a move for Norwich's Grant Holt. I'm sick of hearing about Grant Holt now, being from Norwich it's all I get! One of the guys at work reckons Grant Holt will get 15+ goals in premiership next season, personally I can't see that.
