Conjo
Sounds like he wants to leave respectfully without rocking the boat here too much. Doesn't sound like he agrees with our new policy, interested to hear what it is. A move away from young, overseas players to proven Premiership quality? Doesn't sound good also that already Pardew has been undermined by being made to sell a player he was keen on keeping. We all know how that kind of thing ends. Im torn on this. If I were the owner, and for some obscure reason Pardew were manager and unsackable, I would undermine him on this one as well. Generally I oppose to stuff like that, unless the bid received is too good to turn down.
AyeDubbleYoo
Our existing policy (younger French) and our made-up possible hypothetical future policy (British with PL experience) both mean James Perch is surplus to requirements. It might be interesting to hear an insider's view, but none of it actually affects or explains why he was sold.
Jack Flash
Our new transfer policy might be to get rid of all our English players as they've nearly all either left or are being shopped around.
The College Dropout
We have to keep Willo now surely. Reckon we will bring in at least noe experienced PL player.
Dokko
Harper, Simpson & Perch. Anyone with a British passport watch out.

Quite a strange policy that one. It might not be a coincidence that Williamson, Perch, Gosling and Shola are all terrible.

Al Moody
We're required to have at least 6 homegrown players registered in our squad of 25, so we better keep a few!
LRD
We're required to have at least 6 homegrown players registered in our squad of 25, so we better keep a few! Eight. Technically speaking you can't have more than 17 non-HG players. HG players is not a requirement; you just get to register fewer players. You can play your U-21 players as they don't count towards the quota though. Agree with you we need some quality HG players in the squad.

Guest Geordiesned
Main thing was that he was told in February/March that he would not be offered a new contract and he was shocked by that.
LRD
Main thing was that he was told in February/March that he would not be offered a new contract and he was shocked by that. Pardew wanted him to stay. Kinnear wasn't in at that time. Ashley's hand then.
