JH
After 90 minutes of Champions League football to be able to produce a burst of pace like that, hats off to him. He's world class.
Neil
After 90 minutes of Champions League football to be able to produce a burst of pace like that, hats off to him. He's world class. Yep. Absolutely and utterly electric performance.
Beren
Fucking scary how good Bale is becoming. That run was fantastic. He is making the Inter defenders look like slow old men. 32, 37, 32, 29 tbf.
Rich
Is Bale worth £10m yet, then? I remember all the bollocks when Spurs paid that for him. Not looking a bad deal now.
Foluwashola
Bale at United/Chelsea next season, nailed on. Perfect Giggs replacement tbh. Those Welshies can produce decent left-mids like.

Disco
Great result for FC Copenhagen tonight again. Doing well with my adopted teams for tournaments this year. First Uruguay now these no hopers.
ponsaelius
Man U couldn't afford Bale tbh.
Rich
I can't even comprehend the level that lad is currently playing at. I cannot remember seeing one player be so dominant in his position as he was tonight. One of the best wing performances I can honestly recall. Quite disgusted he plays for Spurs. Newcastle Fan
I think Bale is becoming one of my favorite players, he's been incredible in both legs and the fact that he made an absloute joke of Maicon is super impressive.

Not looking a bad deal now. personally im not surprised at the form he's showing, always thought he had this sort of potential after seeing his early games for spurs. the no premiership wins thing was always just a bad coincidence. Turnbull2000
Spurs will be locked out of the top 4 once City get their act together, so you can pretty much guarantee Bale will be off to one of the big boys, leaving them to languish in the Europa Cup at best over the coming seasons. Beren
Can't help but feel people are getting a little carried away with the Bale euphoria tbh. He's been fantastic, but I'd like to see him dominate the Premier League consistently before I get on my knees and hail him as the next lord and saviour of British football. He may very well do, but one step at a time.

leffe186
Is Bale worth £10m yet, then? I remember all the bollocks when Spurs paid that for him. Not looking a bad deal now. Didn't even pay that. 5M up front then extras, then we paid less than 5M to complete the deal when Southampton needed the money. Another great game to watch too. We still might not go through, but we've now had "won't get fourth", "won't get into the group stages", "will get embarrassed in the group stages", yet we've put ourselves in a great position. Chuffed, absolutely chuffed.
colinmk
Will be interesting to see how he handles the pressure that the english press will put on him after performances like this. Good luck to him though, he is top class.
ponsaelius
Rafa is a joke. If i wasn't that much worried a couple of months ago, now i`m really feeling the hate blossom inside of me. To be fair, he's had none of the injury luck that Mourinho had last season. The midfield has been decimated and Milito has been out for a long period. It's still no excuse though, the team looks lifeless and the players look like they don't care. Eto'o aside.
