The Marseille winger is in Toon until the end of the season. And Hughton said: "We have a loan with an option to sign him. "We had a lot of competition to get him but the lad was desperate to join us, which is why we pushed so hard for him. "He had a very good full debut. We brought him here because we don't have many options on the left. He's on loan untill the end of the season with an option/clause to sign full time at the end of the season. 6 month's or so will go by and he hasn't signed permanently (because it's not the end of the season yet) and all of a sudden NOTW have a story about him signing for someone else because he hasn't signed for us yet.
