Tiote playing like he did on Sunday makes him one of the best in the league in his position. He did everything on Sunday, like he did against Man Utd, the two outstanding games this season for him. Its been a tough 2nd season for him but I think he comes out of it with his reputation in tact. It may even work out in our favour that he hasn't been as spectacular this season as last, maybe he has dipped below the radar of big clubs like "Liverpool" :) :)

The problem with that theory is that Tiote usually saves his best games for the biggest teams. His most dominant performances so far have been against Man U and Liverpool, and he usually shows well against Arsenal and Chelsea as well. Can't really see him staying under the radar when he's smashing up CL midfields right under their noses.

how dare you say he screamed...it was a blatant roar

loved it like, was another 'moment of the match' for me ... love how happy everyone looks playing here at the minute :smitten:

The lion's roar. I was a bit scared actually

But aye, was indeed another great moment from Sunday.

I am a sensible mackem, but this post won't get a good reaction:

Don't think Tiote is all that, prefer Lee Cattermole is the middle.

Last season I would have thought differently, as Cheik was awesome last year.

But this year Catts is having the season of his life, almost knocking on the doors of the England squad. With Gareth Barry in the mix he deserves his call up.

He really fought his way out of that Centre Circle against Everton.
