Guest ToonZA
Excellent result and well played Pardew. Would like to hear some thoughts on why we went for 4-4-2 today. From what I could gather it had a lot to do with fitness and the back-to-back games. Imo, when we play 4-3-3 it requires loads of pressing and energy, something Pardew may have thought we would struggle to maintain for 90 mins today, hence the 4-4-2. With Ba on the left in the 4-3-3 it also requires him to track back and work harder, something he could do without today. So putting him up front with Cisse and closer to goal would go a long way to helping him getting on the scoresheet.
Dinho lad
Me when Pardew was appointed - Had enough of giving shit managers a chance. WE DON'T WANT YOU, PARDEW. PLEASE DON'T COME. PARDEW OUT.

Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
I didn't think he did very well in terms of set up, the 4-4-2 was too stiff. His subs were good, mind. He loves Hatem now like.
BottledDog
He's just Ashley's puppet, man! Pardew out!! Go down the pub, man. Sicko's waiting for you. After how draining some of the shit posted on here about Pardew etc has been over the last year or so, I can't say I'm surprised some people feel the need to let off some steam given the chance tbf. 2-0 doesn't do justice to Bolton, but fkn hell. 59 points. Rich
What was his reaction to the singing his name? Thought it was a nice touch. Looked like he was trying hard to hold back a big cheeky grin and waved towards the supporters, before carrying on with his business.

Tooj
Thankfully we got the result today, but I really couldn't understand why we went 4-4-2 when 4-3-3 had served us so well recently.

Disco
Thankfully we got the result today, but I really couldn't understand why we went 4-4-2 when 4-3-3 had served us so well recently. Did seem odd especially as if anything it exposed Perch's lack of ball skills further in the middle of the park.
JH
It felt like: Krul Simpson Willi Colo Santon Perch Cabaye Jonas HBA Cisse Ba at times
Jordan
I think it was 4-3-3 with Ba being canny selfish and not playing on the left.
Tooj
It felt like: Krul Simpson Willi Colo Santon Perch Cabaye Jonas HBA Cisse Ba at times I thought for a lot of the first half Perch was playing further forward than Cabaye.
