Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)

Recommended Posts

Can't imagine his former club will be too happy with Yohan saying that publicly, nor Debuchy himself.

Getting a bit ahead of yourself there

Eh? I doubt Lille would be happy that their former captain is recommending their right back leaves to join him

Odd that he's coming out with that with there being no big departues since he made his debut for us.

None since he made his debut, yeah, but since he's arrived at the club, we've sold Nolan (our top scorer), Barton (our top assist maker), and Enrique (a high quality defender  we've not replaced). Players do not come into the club blind. He will have known about the importance of these players and the Carroll incident in January. If we tore the squad apart in the two windows before he arrived, what would prevent this from happening again?

Thought it was the right thing to sub him, btw.

Only normal to try to give your best players a rest when you're 2-0 up and have a game in a few days time. Ferguson usually starts 'preparing' for the next match once they lead comfortably.

Picked up a strain like Tiote he said.

Very good display. He's extremely clever and decisive in the final third, good to see him further forward.
