Big Geordie
I would take Lescott and at that price too. Would get another good 4/5 years out of him. No shred of truth in it though, unfortunately.
S.S.R.
James Corden @JKCorden Me and @andytcarroll legend! http://sdrv.ms/TDzytL (pic of him and Carroll in pub) Good to see him knuckling down trying to get fit with his personal trainer.

Hughesy
Interested in M'Vila apparently: Ben Lyttleton @benlyt L'Equipe: #QPR to table €8m bid for Yann #M'Vila, but Rennes want more. #NUFC also interested & want Florian Thauvin, 19, Bastia fwd

Ronaldo
out of all the daft transfer moves we've made in the past getting him on loan wouldn't be the strangest one, decent experienced cb and better than Williamson Richard Dunne is woeful, worse than Williamson. Not that there's any truth in it like. Nonsense. Better in every way.

geordie jamie
@indykaila: Newcastle have open talks with Liverpool Football Club for Andy Carroll. West Ham have no first option. 15m is the fee. #NUFC #Summermove
Tiresias
£15m is way too expensive, based on recent form/fitness barely worth £5m, anyway obvious bollocks

Aye, probably could have done with being loaned out to another Serie A club to learn his trade rather than being a bench player but I guess Napoli can't afford to that like the Northern powerhouses. Sao Paulo it was I read he was off too, only a loan though IIRC.

ponsaelius
He was a big money signing like, £11.5 million. Napoli have been very hit and miss with their transfers in recent years.

Not that there's any truth in it like. Nonsense. Better in every way. He's not like, he's been on a swift decline for the past 3 or 4 seasons. Wife's dad is a Villa fan and said he has been absolutely woeful, and at fault for so many of their goals conceded (especially last season). Williamson has very poor distribution but he's decent in the air and a decent backup, although clearly shot of confidence. Or just a Championship player to start with whose main weaknesses are getting worse with age while being targeted by opposing managers who've figured out how shit he is. Pretty much the same ones for a number of years now. If you were an opposition manager youwould attack us on Santon and Colo's side. Get us on the counter attack by getting behind Santon when he has gone forward and that sucks Colo over to cover which leaves Williamson left alone in the middle.
