Geordie Ahmed
Demba well gutted, at the end you could tell he was devastated that he missed the pen. No wonder the pen was poor, he changed his mind at the last moment Still, hope he does not let it get to him, the guy is still immense
Beren
Was hoping Shola would give him an encouraging hand on the shoulder there at the end, Demba looked so sad.

Dinho lad
can't stand seeing him play as a second striker - monumental waste of his talents. yep, his link-up play is average at best and that's why i've got slight doubts of his partnership with cisse. Poor penalty, but he was unlucky with his header. Just love his attitude though.(when he said it didn't feel like a win, in response to that question on espn.) Guest Howaythetoon
The thing with Demba, even when he's not playing particularly well, like today, he is still a massive goal threat and on another day could of had 3. He was unlucky with his penalty, although he should never have taken it, and even at the end a few of the players, especially Colo, had to console him, but he has no reason to feel bad. He has been immense for us. Our tactics are not helping him, Cisse and Cabaye in particular. These players cannot have the ball umped up to them or in Cabaye's case, played over him. Dokko
Glad he feels as bad as he does, shows he fuking cares. Don't hold it against him, looking forward to him wanting to put it right.
AyeDubbleYoo
Everyone misses sometimes, no problem with it really. (Except Shola).
Steggy
Watch this man behave like an absolute animal in the next few games in front of goal. He'll want to put this right, he'll be fucking lethal for the next few games. Watch out Arsenal you bunch of gooner cunts.
TaylorJ_01
Despite us having an awful, awful first half he still managed to fashion a couple chances and hit the bar. As steggy says, he'll be lethal in the next few games
JH
Glad he feels as bad as he does, shows he fuking cares. Don't hold it against him, looking forward to him wanting to put it right. The thing about not holding it against him is that you know he will put it right in the next couple of games. Top guy.

Dr Venkman
Would absolutely love it if he was the next one to sign a new contract, would be the best signing of the summer imo, we'd really be set up for the next few years then.
Skirge
Lobed how honest he was over pen miss, saying how he changed his mind at the last second.
toon25
Does anyone here think he'll be offered a new contract before the season is out? Or will the club just leave it as it is for the time being?
EthiGeordie
Does anyone here think he'll be offered a new contract before the season is out? Or will the club just leave it as it is for the time being? I think if they get 7 mil for him they will take it. Add another 7 mil and you can buy a decent player. We ought to have a horrible summer selling him will be one of the reasons for it.
