This would be very surprising. Basically they would be overruling a subjective decision.

IMO it would also be saying that it wasn't even a foul to begin with. Seen it a hundred times today and it is so clear that Fletcher runs into Coloccini first before Colo shifts any weight towards the mackem fanny.

Seen it 6 times today and it is so clear that Fletcher runs into Coloccini first before Colo shifts any weight towards the mackem fanny.

"Fabricio Coloccini will not serve a one-match suspension after his wrongful dismissal claim was successful.

An Independent Regulatory Commission found that the match referee had made an obvious error in dismissing the Newcastle United defender for denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity during the game against Sunderland on Sunday 25 October 2015.

Newcastle United have been charged for failing to control their players in relation to their reaction to the match referee’s decision.

What do they expect players to do when it's "obvious"?

 So they've overturned it - and therefore accepted it was wrong - but at the same time charged us with failing to control our players? Go figure.

Makes sense.

They want us to trust they will do the right thing.

Three days later when it makes fuck all difference.
