Sifu
Looked decent from what I saw of him tonight. Hope to see more of the same from him in the future, could yet turn out to be a more than competent number 2 to Krul.
Mole_Toonfan
Thought he was great tbh, hopefully he keeps it up and we might have a decent number
LiquidAK
It is kind of seeing the huge shift of opinion after two isolated games on the same page The new Perchinho? Elliotinho? Robinho We have a winger

Dokko
Confidence building exercise for him, not just confidence in himself, but with the player, manager and certainly fans. All that will help when he surely starts against Norwich.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Meh. Did what I expect in a keeper in all honesty. Nowt spectacular.
eliassenfredrik
Meh. Did what I expect in a keeper in all honesty. Nowt spectacular. Not spectacular (although some of the saves were class), but miles better than Harper atm. Easy choice.

Everything he did was a million miles better than Harper. Crucially he actually looks agile.
Jayson
He made a point blank save & then stopped a 1 on 1 Not easy to please some ppl.

Well, I thought Harper had a pretty shit game vs Everton and looked unfit/out of place. The difference in movement is huge.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
He was areet but how the words "a million miles better" can be used is utterly baffling. You'd have thought Harper had an absolute shocker on Monday in comparison.
Mick
Well, I thought Harper had a pretty s*** game vs Everton and looked unfit/out of place. The difference in movement is huge. The difference between playing in front of 32,000 and playing in front of 4,000 is just as big. I wouldn't think about playing Elliot on Sunday, if he plays I hope he plays well. Of course, but I thought he played well enough to keep his place until Krul returns. Hopefully we wont be focusing on the keeper at all after the Norwich game. jdckelly
Good to know hes at least reliable backup and that our goalkeeping department behind Krul isn't a disaster zone
Sifu
FWIW, I'd still start Harper in Krul's absence in the PL.
Benwell Lad
Thought the kid did very well last night, solid, authoritave and good saves when needed.
TRon
Meh. Did what I expect in a keeper in all honesty. Nowt spectacular. Which is a massive upgrade on most opinions before this game. There's been some pretty decent players written off after a couple of games by fans tbh. Ba, Perch and Coloccini to name a few. Elliott might not be a hot prospect but he looks like he could do a job when needed. You can't really ask for much more than that.
BoSelecta
Id give him the shirt for the PL games whilst Krul is out. Harper simply can't get down quick enough for the low shots.
