Keefaz
The first goal, especially. Anyway, I guess we need to get behind him until we get someone in the summer. Aye: think Krul would've got the first, tbf.
Smal
And that's why Krul is the first choice goalkeeper and Elliot is a back up who'll play 5 games a season on average.
BoSelecta
Bar the game on Thursday, Krul hasn't been saving the shots we expect him to this season anyway.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
let's ignore the fact Steven Taylor wasn't tight enough for that first goal like.

Sifu
Solid performance from him. Should act as a nice confidence boost for him - he'll need a lot of it if he is going to fill in for Krul for the next month or so. Great distribution from him today too. ExiledGeordie
Not at all, I'm chuffed with the points but this lad's awfully out of his depth. Just give him the credit he deserves for today's efforts man, Christ. Were you the one I heard moaning coming out of the round that it should've been 5? Ronaldo
Not at all, I'm chuffed with the points but this lad's awfully out of his depth. Just give him the credit he deserves for today's efforts man, Christ. Were you the one I heard moaning coming out of the round that it should've been 5? No. I've already said we need to get behind him but we're once again in a position where a player not good enough for this league will get games and cost us. That's all I've got to say on him. joeyt
His kicking was poor first half like, much better 2nd
Hanshithispantz
I thought Krul would have had a chance of saving both tbh, nothing easy about either goal though. Fair play to Elliott though, he never put a foot wrong other than that bit of weirdness in the 2nd half.
Jordan
Didn't have many gripes with him today. First goal was stupidly poor marking by Saylor. Second goal he should have saved but other than that didn't really have a problem with him. Done well getting the ball from corners and got himself an assist. What more do some people want from a back up keeper?
Jordan
He was going mad at full time. Delighted for him. His reaction to setting up Cisse's wondergoal was incredible What was it?

ExiledGeordie
His performance and the result takes the pressure off him a bit and will give him confidence. He obviously has plenty of weaknesses but all credit to him today, he did really well in a big game for the club.
NewJerseyMag
Some one was saying we will get another back up in the summer....... doubt it.... this lad IS the backup and good enough for that role.
Pata
Heard rumours that Tony Pulis is interested in buying him and is looking at the possibility to play him on central midfield.
durhamunigeordie
His kicking was awful. Not sure about that - he shanked a few first timers (which Krul does all the time), but he actually had some pretty accurate ones and was always looking to find a man. Cisse's goal only came about because Elliot was on the ball and looking to restart the game quickly. Was nice to see a keeper looking to get things going right from the back, although of course I recognise that isn't the be-all and end-all when it comes to GKs. Cajun
A few in the first half were just high and had a lot of backspin so didn't get far but as the game went on his distribution had a lot of purpose and started a few attacks. As mentioned above, one was even an assist.
ATB
Man, he was great with the ball. Nearly killed Jonas with a ball hitting his breast
Tsunami
Distribution was generally very good today. Better than Krul in that aspect but as a keeper Krul is better. Fine margins but that extra 5% is huge if you're a keeper.
LFEE
He comes across as a nice guy... @nufcfans: "Once I put him through, he had nothing else to do, he just tapped it in," @the_dilsh jokes about assist for @CissePapiss wonder goal #NUFC

Was not at fault for either of the goals, apparently made some smart saves. What a wanker. I really fail to see what you think we should be doing to prevent this situation. From what I've seen of him i very much doubt we could attract a better quality keeper to sit on the bench. Spurs are the only club in this league I can think of with backup keepers that are even close to the quality of their number 1.
