There's obviously no debating the utter lunacy that's gone on under Ashley. But at this point the trust (edit: or better put, the willingness to accept some at-first-glance odd change) doesn't seem so blindly unfounded if one treats Rafa as the canary in the coal mine. He's still our manager while this guy has been here for a couple months at least. Whats the point in worrying? Cant change anything, might aswell embrace the positives rather than just be misreable. If he has a wider, less clear role, then it's a worry. It could complicate the decision-making process within the club, and Ashley has a bit of a history of that.
