JH
Ed Speed, his 14 year old son, addressed the Wales squad after the game. He said: "My Dad always told me if you've done your best that's enough. You've done your best - that's enough."
Dokko
Still seems unreal like, even after all these weeks. Just shouldn't have happened.

Can imagine Gary would have heard that from Sir Bobby :'( Still doesn't seem real

Ameritoon
I will always remember the pit in my stomach when I woke up and throughout an entire bus ride that day. RIP Speedo
David28
A year tomorrow. Still sits uneasy with me that he's dead Not really the fact that he's dead. People come and go. It's the 'why' he's dead. Terrible, absolutely unbelievable.
Mr. Snrub
Can't believe it's been a year, literally feels like no time since I woke up to the news.

JH
It was so surreal. What made it more real was seeing how it affected the likes of Carver and Given et all. It's strange seeing people you've always seen as 'strong' look so uncontrobally upset. Still can't quite believe it one year on.

Jill
A year, bloody hell. Feels like yesterday. I spent the whole day/week feeling pretty much sick.
Mick
It was so surreal. What made it more real was seeing how it affected the likes of Carver and Given et all. It's strange seeing people you've always seen as 'strong' look so uncontrobally upset. Still can't quite believe it one year on. None of those came across as being any stronger than Speed and look what he did. A year later and I still can't see the slightest bit of sense in him taking his own life. Dr Colossus
It'll likely never make sense. We'll never truly know what was going on inside his head. Absolutely tragic, the way things like this can happen to anyone, no matter their situation in life or apparent outward personality. RIP Gary
