Dave
Excited about Vuckic, but not sure what he gives us that Ben Arfa doesn't.
Guest Spark
Will be good to see Vuckic with Cabaye and Tiote behind him.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
At least there'll be no long ball! Interested to see Vuckic in this position.
Mike
Haris to score. Then they'll fucking buy him.
Guest Heneage
f***ing hell, what a vindictive c*** our manager is. Absolute f***ing bellend.
Geordie Ahmed
#nufc Subs Elliot, Santon, Perch, Ben Arfa, Sammy Ameobi, Shola Ameobi, Best What is the point of having Sammy, Shola and Best on the bench. Should have Abeid/Gosling instead of 1 of those
Skirge
I think Pards is right not playing HBA behind Ba BUT HBA should be wide right instead of Obertan
dinotheprehistoricgeordie
Seems we're going to be sitting deep and letting Haris take long shots. There must be something wrong between Pardew and HBA
Ameritoon
I like Haris, and I'm sure he'll play well in that role, as opposed to CM, where he went missing at times. But starting over Ben Arfa is baffling.
Theregulars
There'll be no long ball with that team I hope.
Guest Spark
Maybe it is just a fitness thing? Ben Arfa basically admitted he wasn't 100% yet. Expect him to get at least half an hour again.
ElDiablo
f***ing hell, what a vindictive c*** our manager is. Absolute f***ing bellend. Brilliant isn't it.
Fenham Mag
Excited about Vuckic, but not sure what he gives us that Ben Arfa doesn't. 5 extra inches and 1 and half stone.

Guest Shaun
Haris is a big lad. I'm sure they're be some long balls.
Geordie Ahmed
At least there'll be no long ball! Interested to see Vuckic in this position. I would not be so sure with Pardew, Vuckic is a big lad so he might still do that
Oakie Doke
Pardew will certainly top himself if he ACTUALLY starts Ameobi and Best over Ben Arfa. It already pisses me off, just the thought. I am thinking the reason not to start with Ben Arfa is height. Ba, Ameobi and Best all good on attacking and defending set pieces. Hopefully Ben Arfa starts today. Nah, I don't think that's a good enough reason not to start him. We're not short on tall players anyway - Williamson, Ba, Vuckic, Krul, Santon, Obertan, Best all well over 6 foot. Dr Venkman
Excited about Vuckic, but not sure what he gives us that Ben Arfa doesn't. He certainly doesn't work harder, and that includes when we're in possession, needs to show himself more and get away from markers, wasn't good enough at this against WBA. wormy
I like Haris, and I'm sure he'll play well in that role, as opposed to CM, where he went missing at times. But starting over Ben Arfa is baffling. It's a positive move in itself, but when you've got Barfa to pick from too, especially after Bolton... Ronaldo
Excited about Vuckic, but not sure what he gives us that Ben Arfa doesn't. I think Haris is more of a striker.
midds
Would have liked to have seen Ben Arfa start but it's also nice to see a young kid like Vuckic get a start too. Am certain Ben Arfa will get on at some stage, hopefully to run at them when they're tiring. Options on the bench too.
Stu
Glad that Vuckic is starting, but Santon and Ben Arfa should be on the pitch as well imo. For who? Raylor and...Obertan?
Yorkie
Happy with that team, if somewhat perplexed. He's right in dropping Best. He's also right in not dropping him for Shola. Not right in picking Vuckic over Hatem... ... so close. Must, must be a fitness thing. Pray to God that it is.
Robster
I get nervous before this fixture more than any other, bar the mackem away game. HBA news has just made me even more nervous
KaKa
Liverpool will have a midfield three, and Vuckic probably gives a bit more as far as pressing the opposition goes, which will be particularly neessary as it is at Anfield. Likely just wants to start the game a bit tighter in midfield. Ben Arfa will come on quite early in the second half I would imagine.
