adam1
Need to get rid of Pardew to stop the Carroll deal happening Cut off the head and the body will die.
LoveItIfWeBeatU
Transfer rumours are pointless until we know what division we are playing in next season.
Spudil
Carroll, man, we just haven't moved forward at all. Back to square one. Regression, even though we've just spent how much on players to build an "attacking" team. Depressing as f***, its pathetic we are even interested. It just means stuck with the manager, stuck with the style of play. Please stop He will be gone at the end of the season after we narrowly avoid relegation. Stifler
Cisse out wide, Ben Arfa on the bench, Carroll and Shola up front. I'd take a cyanide pill right now but the chances of me being the first person to survive it are too much, must find a better way.
TaylorJ_01
It's a depressing thought.
Ketsbaia
Sunday has changed my opinion on signing Carroll - let's get him. May as well. At least our hoofs will reach a head, at least we might score from a corner, at least we'll have some passion in the derby.

Deuce
This Carroll talk is utterly demoralizing. It's gone from pure rage, to sitting in the corner of a dark room, rocking back and forth, whispering "Yes Carroll yes, he'll do fine, Pards needs him, we wants the Carroll yes.." Super Duper Branko Strupar
The idea of Carroll really is terrifying. Why would we even want to go for a deal like that? That's the most concerning thing. £10m+ for an English forward in poor form. If we go for that then they really are all out of ideas.
Ronaldo
I get the impression that we've wanted Carroll back for some time and there's some money set aside for his transfer.

Tbf i'm the last one to defend Carroll but he has been in very good form for the last month or so and actually looks like the Carroll we knew and lets not kid ourselves at one point loved. As for Carroll why not, we need another striker anyway so why not him
Deuce
Carroll Gouffran Ben Arfa Cisse Cabaye Sissoko I hate myself a little bit for posting that.

Would have thought he'd be quite high up since his return from injury.
Cajun
I get the impression that we've wanted Carroll back for some time and there's some money set aside for his transfer. Can't help but shake the idea that we are in for him so we look really clever and amazing business minds. If we hadn't already sold him for £35m I can't see us paying £10m+ for him. Think I would rather take a punt on Jordan Rhodes (although I would MUCH rather let Carr find us someone much better than both and likely to cost less). Ronaldo
Don't think Gouffran will ever work in that position, tbh. If we're buying Carroll it's basically to get him out of the first Xl.
Super Duper Branko Strupar
I get the impression that we've wanted Carroll back for some time and there's some money set aside for his transfer. Then we ran out of ideas fucking ages ago. Buy players, make money, hope we win. That seems to be it. Carroll isn't in keeping with anything we've tried to do in nearly 2 years. It's desperate. It doesn't fit. The idea of Carroll really is terrifying. Why would we even want to go for a deal like that? That's the most concerning thing. £10m+ for an English forward in poor form. Still a decent distance away from that I reckon.
Mole_Toonfan
Carroll Gouffran Ben Arfa Cisse Cabaye Sissoko I hate myself a little bit for posting that. Cisse next to Carroll and a midfielder Instead of Gouffran in a 4-3-1-2 and we use Carroll like Fellaini is used at Everton as an outlet but we don't pump the ball to him aimlessly every time we get it and i think i can get behind it. Stuy_O
Would have the nasty b****** back tomorrow. We need some aggression ffs. Admittedly it would be concern over Pardews long ball fixation.
Guest bimpy474
Ah this must be for the, fast front foot football, you know the one where if you control the midfield you win the game stuff Pardew told us about. Is there another manager more full of shit than Pardew.
