Everyone knew he was going to be worse than s***, the fans did, McClaren and his coaching staff deep down probably did. Yet he was selected and low and behold was worse than s***. I wanted to start Perez and De Jong but I don't think they would have been any better given how the game went, our problem wasn't a misfiring centre forward. Our best performance this season was also with him upfront (he also scored). We were still canny shit like, given that we are shit, managed by shit.
