Mole_Toonfan
Krul Mbiwa Williamson Coloccini Santon Anita Sissoko Ben Arfa De Jong Sammy Gouffran Something like that i reckon, as far as best team goes but obviously Pardew the nutjob would play some players who don't deserve to.... Didn't put Cisse because he's injured.
Guest bimpy474
Why are Santon, Krul, Haidara, Tiote, Sissoko, etc. suddenly unavailable? Krul, Tiote and Sissoko will be reporting back late because of extended leave, world cup stuff. Assuming there was no WC. Like if the league started up tomorrow. What is our current best XI? Blimey, i suppose if you pick it as Pardew and not one of us. Krul, Santon, Williamson, Colo, Dummett, Anita, Tiote, Sissoko, Gouffran, Amoebi, De Jong..............i think. Chicane
I assumed he meant literally, if we had a game tomorrow with the players currently available to the club Otherwise I'd say Krul Yanga Colo Willo Dummett Sissoko Tiote Colback Gouff De Jong Cisse I think that is how we would line up, not what I believe is our best XI

What would Chelsea's squad look like given 90 percent of their first team was at the World Cup? Well with 28 player or so on loan due back, better than our first team i reckon
Segun Oluwaniyi
Santon will go to right back before Ryan Taylor. I doubt Ryan Taylor will see any league action outside of the cup surrenders. LRD
Santon will go to right back before Ryan Taylor. I doubt Ryan Taylor will see any league action outside of the cup surrenders. Considering our lack of a set piece specialist after the departure of Cabaye, we might see Raylor more often than you think.

BlueStar
Fucking rubbish decision. One of our best players sold yet again with no consideration whatsoever towards the team. And no replacement in the door. As per usual. Fuck off you utter cunts. Well aye. Why get excited about or attached to any player? They'll either be shit, look half decent and then have any sense of joy squeezed out of them by Pardew, or if they show any promise will be shipped out to a club that will get the most out of them at the first opportunity. Hanshithispantz
Said it before but he's probably the final straw. He's a genuinely brilliant footballer, as Cabaye was, who we've flogged for a profit without ever even trying to build a proper squad around them (and the likes of Remy and Ba). It's a completely pointless cycle.
TRon
The sale has coincided nicely with Raylor being fit again. Like a new signing.

Mick
Don't think he's as vulnerable as Pardew's inept tactics made him look, for France he hardly ever looks vulnerable. Mind you similar things were said about Cabaye till has final 3 months and similar things said about Sissoko. Unfortunately the man in charge is just a clueless nutbjob. He's vunerable to pace, he got done in the Euro's a couple of years ago by pace, seen it happen a few times for us as well. Mind you that's a small mark on his copybook, he's still a very very good player. He was playing right wing when he was done for pace the time you've mentioned. Ste
So frustrating. Two players we've had leave in the last 6 and a bit months, and both for similar reasons. And both the best we have seen in their position for years. We have to remember that we support a football club. That £10m goes in the bank and it'll stay there until the next cheap player comes along, and the money that isn't used on the transfer fee will be set aside as wages across the whole contract. So a £3m player quickly becomes a £10m one to these clowns, with their 6 year contracts to protect their investment first and foremost. The World Cup has been class as a distraction, but all too soon it's back to the same Pardew tactics, the same gaps in the team that won't be filled until any one of our targets from option A to Z finds themselves almost out of contract or out of favour. Cabella, Grenier or Siem De Jong? We got the cheapest.

He is recovering from two consecutive serious knee injuries. I think this season will be entirely about career-rehabilitation in the hope of getting another contract in the lower leagues somehwere.
