LoveItIfWeBeatU
Pardew should have ranted on how Valencia tried to end Anita's career. That seems to be how things are done.

Teasy
It was a clear yellow and easily could have been red. The look on Valencia's face suggested to me that he knew it was a bad challenge. Valencia has been on the wrong end before which made the challenge a but worse for me. Yeah a second yellow was the minimum he should have gotten and it could easily have been a straight red, to get nothing at all was a joke.

Guest pintofscottsellers
Pardew should have ranted on how Valencia tried to end Anita's career. That seems to be how things are done. He should have at least flagged it up, was a farce how Valencia didn't get his marching orders, already being on a yellow and all that.
ElDiablo
Has there been any indication to how bad it is? Be gutted if he's out for a while just as he's coming into his own.

The only thing is Pardew's post-match interview where he said it didn't look that bad.

Guest Phil K
Been very amused at the same hypocrite gloryhunters defending that dangerous, if not intentional challenge on Anita, screaming the place down at the Swansea players clearance that hit Van Persil's swollen head !!!! Pilko
Thank fuck it's nowt more serious. I hope Valencia's leg falls off, fucking cowardly tackle and I'm still incredulous that he wasn't sent off.

Was the worst decision of the match for me, if I was Pardew I would have been absolutely raging.
Wilson
Shocking challenge, shocking decision to leave valencia on the pitch. On another note, becoming a class player for us

I thought he would have been raging in his post match interview over the challenge, but you cant slag off referees though, apart of the game i disagree with. Jill
It's really pleasing to hear it might not be as bad as it could've been. I had myself convinced last night that he'd be out for months on end.

Pardew was rightly more concerned that Anita might miss some games.

Cajun
Marveaux dropping deeper and Obertan in a front 3 for Arsenal? Not getting carried away with Obertan's performance yesterday but we don't really have many options..

Not getting carried away with Obertan's performance yesterday but we don't really have many options.. I think Tiote and Bigi with Marveaux ahead of them and Obertan as part of a front 3 with Ba and Cisse is the best we could put out.
