Alan Pardew

Pardew's a glorified politian man.

From day one his job seemed half football manager, half PR guru. The problem is that it doesn't wash when you start losing games regularly.

Still don't get this "Pardew is a PR guru" stuff. The man is rubbish at interviews. Very uninspiring run of the mill rent-a-quote. Winning or losing.

Some people fall for it though. How else do you explain the easy ride he's been getting for most of the season? Also fans of clubs he's managed in the past talk of him completely dividing opinion, it's the same thing here.

He sounds desperate. Revisionist more than anything now.

What a turn this has taken. He has to go. I'd struggle to even care if we go into next season with him in charge.

It's time for the board to show us that they're continuing to develop their understanding and hire a manager worthy of these players and this club.

See that right there, how fucking negative is that. He should be saying the complete opposite. "We're going all out to make sure we get a big win here, we have a right to do that for these fans." Is what he should be saying. Not fucking... UGRH do you know what I can't even be bothered to type about him anymore. Bloke's a cunt.

You know the blokes desperate and full of shit when Paul fucking Lambert is more positive in a Presser saying the right thing - 'the onus is on us to take the game to them and make the running' which would be the right thing to say after the last home game  :undecided:

He's struggling to keep up his arrogant, cocky demeanour.  Ego dented and sounds a broken, upset and confused man.

Still can't believe he's still going on about the sunderland reaction.  There should be way more heat on him.  The fucker got off lightly, as did the players.

Finally, some sense.

With regards to the interview, as always, it's just words. Whatever he comes out with, at this point, will have people foaming at the mouth. Results are the most important thing now, and three points on Saturday will be worth so much more than any soundbites from an increasingly under pressure manager.

I dont think any nufc fans expect to steamroller liverpool....what fans want to see is grit and determination not to lose and to grab AT LEAST a point....go out and prove we are not really this shit...shows us!

We are at home to not the greatest of Liverpool teams, we should at least expect our side to give it a go for the whole match within reason,

We should be positive from the start and get at them. Pardew has basically came out and said we will be the the opposite, maybe Douglas or Ryder could have told him that Suarez wont be playing. He seems to think they are full strength and in with a shot of the Champions League or something.

Agreed.  It's depressing stuff and no wonder why fans are just moaning on at the moment.  It's classic stuff to lower expectations, but that won't wash with a large majority. God help us if he is being that negative behind the scenes.

They wouldn't be far ahead of us without Suarez,  he carries the other ten on his fucking back,  even then they're barely above mid table.  Make no mistake,  we should be winning this game at home.

No more fucking excuses.

Proof will be in the performance, unfortunately it too often runs identical with the drivel he spouts pre-match.

Chelsea (H) has got to be the benchmark for this one. Get at them, no excuses.

Yep, unfortunately. Can't remember what he said pre-Chelsea, but that performance bucked the trend. I'm not too comfortable saying we 'should' beat Liverpool, like. However, a performance where we at least try to is essential.

The football we play is horrible and we have to put up with the negatives comments from this asshole. Why say such self defeating things before a match??

It must be to lower expectations so when we lose, he cushioned it and if we win, it becomes a great achievement of sorts. He would pull out his award winning punches in the air , never seen them so rehearse.

The worst part of it for me is knowing how games are going to pan out, against west brom, going in to half time 1-0 up, you knew the second half would be a disgrace, i know being on the other side of the world means we miss out on the atmosphere, but it just doesn't feel like his days are numbered either sadly.

If he was going it would have been on the back of the FA Cup defeat in the midst of a 9 losses in 11 games run of results.

Just hope Ashley has seen enough and that his investment in players has been wasted.
