He's the best striker we have had since Shearer. Worth every penny of 12m even at 29. Get 3 years of 15+ goals, if he played and he would probably keep us up.

In the meantime they could be paired occasionally, and Remy can even feature on the left sometimes, where he did really well also, With Mitro up top. Lots of flexibility and options.

He'd have to find some form quickly if he is to replace Ayoze or Mitrovic. He doesn't look like the player he was for us. Still would be pleased to sign him like.

Be a weird one this, obviously goes totally against the transfer 'policy' we've had for the last few years. He's the closest thing to a proven goalscorer you can get though, £12 million is basically one hand on a ticket to stay up.
