Really impressed with Mapou in the recent games. Seemingly not affected by the Everton horror show nor the fact that he was moved to RB because of Coloccini's return.

Top pro, great defender and someone who'll grow into a very, very important player for us.

He will be superb. He'll be very unlucky if he goes to the bench when Colo and Debuchy are both available.

Aye, that back four not only beat Chelsea and Spurs, but got clean sheets in both matches. The one at the weekend conceded at home to Norwich, who are probably the worst team in the league at the moment.

Will Pardew be brave enough to bench Colo and go back to the backfour that kept clean sheets vs Chelsea and Spurs?

That was through luck more than good defending!  You could hardly say MYM and Willo were solid and tight against Spurs,  on another day we'd have conceded 5 or 6 and everyone would be screaming for Colo to come back in the side!
