More importantly, what does RTG think of him?

"Massively overrated with a bad attitude who will trigger nuclear implosion of the entire club"

Unless he doesn't sign, when he'll become what would have been a great signing for us.

Funny how we know nowt about this because its not in france.

Where are all the slutty french journos when you need them.

The dutch are fucking useless.

At least it looks as though we are trying to buy a striker this window!

I thought I would have a little break from Purple WeekTM and have a boring Saturday but there's no end to transfer news. Not that I'm complaining.

Between him now and PEA in the summer, who would people rather have though? Bony screams 442 while PEA screams 433 for sure.

To be honest I don't give a shit about formations. We shouldn't be buying players based on a formation on paper. As long as we have a blueprint (purpleprint?) as to how we like to play, as long as the coaching is geared towards it throughout all levels of first team/squad/reserves etc., as long as the importance of team spirit and dressing room harmony is given the attention it deserves, as long as we sign players who are real professionals who don't tarnish the club's name - I couldn't care less what formation we play.

In an ideal world we'll have a large enough pool of players in a variety where by the manager can pick and choose according to the available options (injuries/suspensions/afcon), go out there and genuinely try to win any given game. If we can afford Bony's transfer fee and wages, and remain within our budget, then I say bring him in. Lose Tiote in the summer? Go after PEA.
