Ronaldo
He's comfortably the best this season. Carrick and Suarez next up.

Ketsbaia
Great, so the media will be all Bale for yet another week.
Mole_Toonfan
I don't mind a player winning both awards but i do believe Bale shouldn't be up for young player to begin with. U21 or a breakout year like Tooj mentioned for me.
Fenham Mag
It's still stupid that they vote in February with a lot of the season left.
Ronaldo
It's still stupid that they vote in February with a lot of the season left. Is that true? He's done well to win it, then.
healthyaddiction
It's still stupid that they vote in February with a lot of the season left. There was a guy from the PFA on the radio who said that was a myth and voting takes place between mid march and mid april.

Ketsbaia
YPOTY: 3rd Hazard, 2nd Benteke, 1st Bale ....so if Hazard is nominated for POTY, why isn't Benteke? Logical flaw.

joeyt
Ferdinand seems to stick out as the only one I think is a bit dubious. I mean I havent seen too much of Man Utd but Evans has been quite good hasnt he?
LesPaul
Don't think you should be able to win both but just glad Rat Face didn't win.

I mean I havent seen too much of Man Utd but Evans has been quite good hasnt he? Ferdinand has been fantastic this season from what i have seen, Hazard is the one that shouldn't be there i could easily name a dozen players who had better seasons. ponsaelius
Team would look more balanced with a deeper midfielder in for Hazard. Always annoys me these mental teams that have no consideration for balance and realism. Mind, I struggle to think of somebody as a reasonable candidate. Mole_Toonfan
Think Gerrards been really good this season tbh He has and i don't like to praise him even if you wanted to go like for like as in position wise..... Cazorla, Michu and Fellaini have all been comfortably better than Hazard
Neil
Can't argue with the main award too much. Been the best player to watch this season and generally very effective. He's 24 in a couple of months, though. In today's game, I don't count a 23 year old as being young. More and more players are getting good at an earlier stage of their career (increasingly developed facilities and opportunities for youngsters) so I really don't see him as being a young player. Think him winning it devalues the young player award tbh.

The bloke sometimes struggles to control a ball and pass it 10 yards.

Ameritoon
Every year we say the same shit about the Young Player award, it really does need some better guidelines. Of course, it'll probably take about ten years before they finally do something about it.
