Dont think Pards did anything wrong really, we were very good first half and kept the team the same for the second. It was the players that didnt turn up after half time...

I don't agree - Steve Clark made changes to personnel and formation to counteract Newcastle's first half and Pardew didn't have an answer!

Good away point.. just shows when given time on the ball we can play but as soon as teams close us down we look lost.

They really upped their game in the second half and our lack of confidence really showed but we come away with something so am happy.

We have such a poor overall group of fit players at the moment.

This will get lost in blaming Pardew for his "tactics" when he should be sacked for failing to get the squad fit and motivated.

Sissoko and Cabaye have looked shit together and Cisse was a joke in the second half.

Sissoko seems to have developed a lousy first touch. In my opinion, Debuchy is yet to have a really good game.

Wrong and wrong.

On the first point, Sissoko has always had a lousy first touch.

Happy with a point I suppose, but everyone immediately around us won so that negates it a bit.

First half we were good, second half was an absolute disgrace. They simply went 4-3-3 with three strikers and just humped it into space for them every single time - we did not cope with it at all.

Why play so deep? Why bring Shola on for Gouffran again? Why leave the Ben Arfa sub so late? :anguish:

Two points thrown away against a team already on their holidays. The rocket they got off their manager at HT was enough to inspire the minimal effort needed to change the game. It went from nothing for Eliot to do to nothing for Foster to do. Pardew FFS.

As for our players, did HBA even get a half decent pass after coming on?

cant blame pards for cisse missing an open goal

True. We need a striker who can knock in simple chances.

We'd need to start creating more of them too like.

Why do you think that was? because he's happy with a 1 goal lead and sitting on it for 45 mins. He's a joke, we needed a win and a performance to prove he cared and we've gotten the same shit away performance. He doesn't give a fuck about his job because he knows he's secured and won't get sacked. Whole situation is fucking dire.
