Shame Nolan is suspended for that one.

Blessing in disguise, he's looked shite for some time but undroppable due to his goal threat and captaincy.

They'll be a better team without him.

But he usually scores against the Mackems so in that sense it sucks.

He's just not in that form right now, think he'd have a horror show tbh.

It does seem like 30 points may be enough to stay up at the minute. Teams at the bottom usually start picking up points at the end of the season though so whilst they're not that far adrift now I think they've still got a lot of points to get on the board to be safe.

8 in 33 games for Fletcher since that initial spell of 5 in his first 4 games. Desperate given they rely almost solely on him.

Didn't he cost £12m as well?

I'd take Altidore to be honest if they went down.

To do what? work on the turnstyles? Shola is better than him FFS.

Spuds should have had 6 or 7 tonight, and yet the mackems nearly got out of jail with what should have been a pen. The mackems need wins now, draws aren't much good. More pressure on them. Hope they lose every fucking match the useless cunts.

Lose to wham and Cardiff pick up a draw at the weekend and they'll effectively need 8pts, or double their current total to catch up with nearly half the season gone.

That's some way to come back from.

From 23 games? No chance.

14 games.

With only 14 games to go (8 at home and 9 away) minus the parachute payment co-efficient (2.6 games in lieu) and bearing in mind they've already played 17 games which deducted from 38 makes 24....that makes an average of 5.434343 recurring points per game required.

I think West Ham managed it in 1998 marra.

No way marra we're not going down. We only need 1.5666 recurring points per game and all our remaining games are really easy and everyrone else's are really difficult.

All the players are right behind Poyet and he's got us playing brilliant stuff. If we keep Brown fit he can keep us up single handed and Altidore's on a roll now as well.

Ellis will buy us another 5 top quality players in January so we'll probably finish mid table.

All aboard the Gus bus!

Quinny's a legend.

FTM.
