Minhosa Posted August 19, 2013 Share Posted August 19, 2013 The performance as a whole hasn't actually been that bad, just can't cope with some of City's attacking. Not really that surprising. Ironically we now probably have one of the best back four and midfield lineups that Pardew can put out, shame we needed an injury and a red card to get there. Silly from Taylor but unlucky to be actually sent off. Wouldn't be surprised to see another red with the amount of bookings we've had. We've been lucky not to have two pens against us tbf. Had a few decent triangles, decent movement for small periods, but they're finding lines between our defence with far to much ease. They are getting through us too easily aye, but then again they are incredibly talented. Not saying we've been good obviously, but we haven't been appalling or embarrassing. Just outplayed by a clearly better side. No pens though. Ian you don't half talk some shit. We're down to 10 men from a stupid sending off, are 2-0 down, have been lucky on at least one penalty call and have not created one clear cut chance. Honestly man, just take those fucking specs off. Taylor, Cisse and Debuchy have been horrible. Cisse in particular who has lost the ball within seconds of being given it every time. Thankfully Ban Arfa has looked good with the ball. Horrible thing to do? Yeah one of the lads hairs is probably slightly pushed out of style now, his life is basically ruined. I wouldn't have said a horrible thing to do, but it's a deliberately raised forearm towards another players head, and by the games rules, it's a red card. It's a deserved red, imo. To me he's over rated on here, yes we should be getting at least £20m for him but only because even shit players go for £15m+ these days and we have clubs with lots of money interested in him. TomCmo Posted August 19, 2013 Share Posted August 19, 2013 We have played the right way and passed well at times but we have been noverpowered by Toure in misfield time and time again and Cisse and Gouffran cannot hold anything up at all, as for vdefense, Saylor has been awful, Aguero wound him up a bit after the not handball and he tooke the bait, hook line and sinker, with 1 min left in the half. WTF we we're gonna get stuffed anyway. On a plus............still trying to think of one. Thanks NUFC for another comedy / horror show.
