Ketsbaia
Growing up with parents who don't really like football, Euro 96 was my introduction and I caught the bug. Absolutely loved it. Cheering on England, with Shearer as the hero. Then a few weeks later he signs for Newcastle! I thought football would always be this easy and have been comprehensively proved wrong ever since So yeah, definitely Shearer for me.

LRD
My first serious introduction to football was NUFC. If it extends to non-players it would be Keegan, otherwise Shearer.

David28
Around 1998 it was definitely Jürgen Klinsmann. A bit later than it was also Oliver Kahn. Obviously all started to change when I started following Shearer.
