Guest neesy111
No way, his goal record since he left us has been as bad as our current strikers. We need better than that.
LesPaul
Might do a job for us in the Championship next season.
Yorkie
Not to enter the same argument again, but I feel he was just as guilty as anyone in the way that he left - but if he wanted to come back and give it another shot, I still think he could have a good career as a Newcastle player - injuries depending. Not to be a stereotype but I absolutely loved having a Geordie as the number 9 and playing so well too. Obviously, any form of desire about anything Newcastle-related comes under the proviso that Pardew leaves.
Big Geordie
I'd take him back, but the deal has to be right.
bowlingcrofty
Take him back purely on the basis he'll chin Pardew within 6 months.

Wallace
Always amused by the way that Pardew goes on about him. He was his manager for about 6 weeks of which Carroll only played probably the first 3 games before he got injured.

r0cafella
For what he'd cost in both transfer fee and wages and I'm sure we could do better.

Minhosa
Ashley will be walking around with a proper bonk on if he can pick him up for less than £8m-£10m. People will herald his business acumen. Whilst we'll be stuck with a injury prone drunkard prone to chinning his team mates.

Wallace
It seems as if we are his only option if West Ham want rid as no-one else ever seems to be linked with him. Although I suppose 'Arry could interested.
Klaus
His name will be linked with us during every transfer windows until the day he rejoins us the, or he retires.
Kanj
Woudn't mind him as part of a squad, behind a few other strikers who are better and offer us more in terms of football.
AyeDubbleYoo
I wouldn't go near him until he's played a full season of PL football without injuries. Which he'll probably never do.

LRD
I'd take him on: Initial transfer fee of £1 £500k per 10 games (up to 100 games) £1m per 10 goals Basic wages of £1 £50k per goal, £20k per assist £5m + a 50% cut of Stevie's pay if he headbutts Pardew

Zero
The question would be whether his injury is a recurring one that cannot be fully healed?
loki679
He's constantly injured, i'd stay well clear of him. Don't think his lifestyle helps much either like.
EthiGeordie
Newcastle beating Everton to CSKA star Seydou Doumbia NEWCASTLE have surged ahead of Everton in the race for CSKA Moscow striker Seydou Doumbia. As reported by Express Sport last month, both clubs are keen on signing the 26-year-old this January as Roberto Martinez and Alan Pardew search for more firepower. Everton are yet to see the best of Romelu Lukaku this season, whilst Newcastle are in dire need of a goalscorer to help them avoid a relegation dogfight. However, reports in Russia claim that the Magpies are front-runners for his signature, with Pardew ready to make the former Ivory Coast international a lucrative offer. Doumbia's current deal expires in 2016, and the Young Boys star is apparently keen to test himself at St James' Park. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/526623/Everton-Newcastle-CSKA-Moscow-Doumbia?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+daily-express-sport-news+(Daily+Express+%3A%3A+Sport+Feed)
