Lazy journalism although January is our usual month of activity.

We're now linked with a January move for Micah Richards to add competition for Debuchy, I'd love that to be true although doubt he'd fit into our wage structure or want to join us.

As covered the last two pages its goal, hardly a good source and we obviously wouldnt anyway.

Newcastle United have made an informal enquiry about the possibility of signing Manchester City defender Micah Richards, Goal understands.

It's THAT f***ing boring.

Would be happy with it though  be a huge upgrade on Taylor IMO. And he's a unit, which people seem to he crying out for

Huge upgrade on Taylor? He's first and foremost a RB who's got similar weaknesses to Taylor at CB in addition to being small.

Agree that's he's not really a CB and if he is.. he has huge weaknesses similar to Taylor. However he has a tremendous leap does Richards.

Would absolutely love Micah Richards at RB.

Is he really better than Debuchy? There isn't much evidence of that IMO.

Only about a 150 performances in this league which have bettered Debuchy's best in said league. Apart from that no evidence at all.

So we already being linked with Richards, Young and Zaha and I doubt very much that we will get any of them.

Course we won't, journalists are generally s***.

And if a journalist does get a story right, it then comes down to Dirty Joe's recruitment skills. We have no chance.

Stronger, faster, better in the air? Think he's better suited to this league in comparison to MD. Certainly Debuchy is the more established and has made a much better career for himself at Lille and for the French national team.

It's hard to say if Richards is that good when he's playing in a star studded team. Even Adam Johnson looked decent with City but he's hardly setting the Stadium of Light on fire  But I do agree that Richards does have some good physical presence which would add something different to our lineup.
