Guest palnese
Cheeky bid for Wickham?
AyeDubbleYoo
Not sure about Rivière at all, seems extremely average. Still only 24 I suppose so give him a chance, but not too exciting.
Mole_Toonfan
As said before as long as he's not the only one......
AyeDubbleYoo
Cheeky bid for Wickham? Would be excellent IMO.
Guest chopey
That would do me
lovejoy
Would still love to see Carroll back here.
AyeDubbleYoo
I would rather have Wickham than Carroll for sure, not that either seems likely.
Guest chopey
One of our famous cheeky bids would ruffle a few makem feathers
Wallace
Seems like the club are ignoring Pardew's wish for more British players (other than Colback of course).
Dave
@CaulkinTheTimes Interesting by @garyjacob - Remy get out-clause is £8m for top 4 & another of £11m for top 6. QPR would ask £15m from others. #Nufc Huh?
Stuy_O
Top 4 - 8 mill 5th and 6th - 11mil everyone else 15 mill I think thats what he means anyway.
Dave
Yeah I got that. Just doesn't make sense to me.
Shays Given Tim Flowers
Probably part of getting him to join QPR or stay at QPR.
alexf
So the teams with the most money have to pay less while the poorer teams pay more. About right.
Mole_Toonfan
No chance then...
Belfast Mags
He's not coming back guys
TRon
Probably part of getting him to join QPR or stay at QPR. Looks like they'll have an unhappy player on their books then. He clearly wants away but that limits his choices quite a bit. I suppose he could always lower his demands and accept a place on Arsenal's bench for lower wages. Shays Given Tim Flowers
I'm not saying Harry Redknapp isn't a long term planner, I just can't think of a way to finish my sentence.
Segun Oluwaniyi
Riviere is inferior to Gouffran. Not particularly interested, but depth is something the side lacks up front. Based on what? Have you seen a lot of Riviere? Yes. Very good athlete and a hard worker, but not a great amount of quality, imo. The word "average" is just about fitting for him in terms of a Premiership striker. In fairness to him, he did seem to improve from his form at Toulose and St. Ettiene and was impressive in the first half of last season with some big goals, tapered off a bit towards the end. He'd be fine as an option, just not too exciting.
LFEE
(Remy) Didn't we have a fee agreed as part of the loan deal?... Just thinking the £8m might apply to us rather than the £15m...
KaKa
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!! This doughnut is stuck at QPR! What an absolute mug.
henke
I hate football clubs being described as outfits, just thought I'd throw that in too.
Wallace
(Remy) Didn't we have a fee agreed as part of the loan deal?... Just thinking the £8m might apply to us rather than the £15m... That's what we were led to believe last season although now his loan to us is over maybe that fee is no longer valid where we are concerned.
KaKa
Fee was probably £11 million, provided we finished top
