NUFC transfer rumours in the press

Recommended Posts

Lyon got knocked out last night didn't they? Maybe they'll budge on their valuation of him and just let him go from now? I can see this being a January signing though.

Oh they did? Hmmm ... we might have a chance then. Seeing as they haven't managed to shift anyone else this summer too, and they apparently need to do so.

Because it makes it look like to all the sheep that we are trying to do something.

But the reality is quite different.

The perfect player to go for; QPR won't accept anything less than 15m as we are not in Europe and even if by some miracle they do, we can just claim Remy was asking for too high wages.

QPR get to keep a good striker, Remy doesn't have to play for Pardew and idiots believe it's not our fault we didn't bring another striker in (even though there's probably at least 20 strikers in the world who are in our budget and would improve our team, but no we will just focus on 2 guys who we are not willing to cough up for and don't want to join us)- everyone's a winner (apart from the team and fans).

Yesterday's match didn't really matter as they failed to qualify for the CL and would need to sell (which they haven't done so far) and the EL offers a pittance in comparison to the CL.

We should probably stop going for players who have already publicly come out and said they don't want to sign for us.

But then we might actually have to sign somebody!

Does this joke still work?

Not his fault he's unemployed.

Wow ... why are we bidding if the guy has said he doesn't want to join us. That's embarrassing.

Really hope he gets stuck at QPR, and they keep on stinking it up. The guy is kind of irritating.

Which rejection is the worst would you say? The first one for QPR or this one? He can do one though and I hope he gets stuck at QPR.

I would say this one. First time round he was set to come only to be swayed by a lot more money. This time he's been here and clearly realises it's a waste of time with the club being managed by a former window fitter. It's a massive indictment of how good players are refusing to play under Pardew.

Edit: Comment at the bottom

Forget about Remy now, he has shown absolutely no desire to sign for us permanetly. We should be looking at pushing through a deal for Lacazette, Lyon are out of Europa League so we may be able to get him in the last few days. Fingers crossed.

I can't understand why people think we are getting Lacazette... He have told the club that he doesn't want to join Newcastle and wants to stay at Lyon one more season..

And now Remy have turned down Newcastle AGAIN... It's clearly that Pardew is not going to sign a new striker. "Cisse is like a new signging"

Well, MYM was never going to be played by the King. My only hope is that there might be a swap deal for one of those Marseille player that his name eludes me right now or we're getting in a replacement, Alderweireld I hope and not Richards.

It is worrying though that the only defender we have actively been linked with is Richards.

Anyways, it's an absolute travesty we are selling a French international and keeping Willo and ffs Saylor.

Boumsong was a french international!!!!!
