If he walks in and nails it then Charnley et al are going to look even more ridiculous. Torn about this. Don't want him to do well because I want (and we need) Villa to continue to struggle and then Charnley and co will feel quite smug. However, if he comes in and get their team playing well and moving quickly up the league and we continue as we are, then even more questions are going to be asked of Charnley and all those quotes dripfed out of the club e.g. lack of arts in the city, too big a club for him, didn't interview well etc will come back to haunt them.
