Yorkie
Think we all know how this one goes. Leicester pull clear early enough to ease the nerves and justify Ranieri's sacking. Meanwhile, Shakespeare is lauded for his efforts, having wedged a formidable points gap between his side and the rest of the relegation pack. Come May, it'd be damn-near insulting not to consider Shakespeare for the permanent gig. Summer arrives, and he is rewarded with a three-year contract. February 2018 rolls around and, with the novelty having worn-off months ago ("a great coach, but never a manager..."), Shakespeare is dismissed. March '18 and, the recently-retired, Peter Crouch is snubbed for the vacant managerial position. Martin Keown fronts a charity aimed at providing more chances for British coaches. Leicester appoint Steve Clarke and solidify their status as lower-midtable fodder for the next five years. Phil Neville rallies for greater British representation in Premier League dugouts. Bah, Clarke's just gone to Kilmarnock.
afar
Chalk up yet another caretaker manager given the job full time then failing massively almost immediately afterwards. It so rarely works, makes you wonder what goes into the heads of those owners that appoint them.
STM
Another English manager who is a victim of this merciless league. If only his name was Shakeapearos.
Mole_Toonfan
I'll never understand why the literal Champions of England hired that weird non-entity of a man. Because that one season aside they are a non-entity of a football club tbh.

Absolutely agree with this. The daft clubs who went this route recently deserve everything they get. Luckily for us, Hughton turned out alright. Dinho lad
I'll never understand why the literal Champions of England hired that weird non-entity of a man. But it was him that masterminded their league win, not Ranieri, you know. Kevin Phillips said so.

samptime29
They've had a pretty tricky start to the season tbf. He doesn't inspire any confidence, but I thought they'd give him another 3 games to see how it went.
STM
Allardyce all over it. Cue pundits going wild. After RAFA is mentioned first.
Cheshire Mag
Leicester fans on one of there forums reckon they will poach Rafa from us
Minhosa
I reckon Hippoheed will be up for that Leicester job like Great shout - already looks like a trademarked Allardyce side tbh. Lumpy centre backs in Maguire and Morgan, tricky midfielder in Mahrez and Vardy grafting his bollocks off up top.
xLiaaamx
Coleman favourite. Reckon they'd go down with him.
Nexumaster
I reckon Hippoheed will be up for that Leicester job like Yep, decent players who are underperforming - a bit of organisation and they'd steady a bit, make him look like a world class manager again before fucking off quickly enough to avoid the drop or having to challenge the top half. Absolutely agree with this. The daft clubs who went this route recently deserve everything they get. Luckily for us, Hughton turned out alright. Hughton was the exact opposite, frankly he was appalling as a caretaker, he only got the gig because there was no one else left standing. He then becomes permanent an suddenly shows a great aptitude for the job, it was really weird.

Guest milburn990
I think they should just bring in Nigel Pearson, Ranieri won the title with his team, and he is still employed by them through their parent company.

But it was him that masterminded their league win, not Ranieri, you know. Kevin Phillips said so. Indeed. Leicester have had a hard start this season, but weren't far off getting something out of the high scoring games with Arsenal and Liverpool. I'd have expected them to rise up the league as the season progresses. As with Ranieri, it's all a bit kneejerk. Plenty of potential for another backwards appointment to come. Paully
SSN - Pardew wants it Peter Taylor on the phone - “Alan has shown he can do a job with any Premier League club and he did an outstanding job at Newcastle” Ha ha ha fuck off man!

Mole_Toonfan
But seriously, are we, as Newcastle fans, just unnecessarily harsh to previous managers? Do the pundits and media see something we don't? Considering Pardew's record pre and post Newcastle is completely horrific no. The media are just morons.
