themanupstairs
Managers who play unapologetically dire football in the name of results have absolutely no goodwill to play with when results go south for a period of time. Unlucky. There'll be pundits queuing up to tell WBA fans that they should have been delighted with the holy grail of surviving every season but if they were sick of watching that s*** then I don't blame them. As a fan, football's pointless if all it is is a grind. Spot on, defeats the whole point of sport. Yup. It also shows that the manager is only out for himself to make sure he can always get another job when this gig goes south. "Look i can get results, me". samptime29
Pardew relegating West Brom and Moyes relegating West Ham, would be glorious.
Nobody
That's a quarter of the league having binned their managers this season.
sbnufc
Swap "never going to get relegated but play shit football" Tony Pulis for "never going to get relegated but play shit football" Sam Allardyce
Zero
Bad sacking. There are no good replacement in the market at the moment. Allardyce is already the best.
Stottie
That's a quarter of the league having binned their managers this season. Rafa up to ninth longest serving out of the current managers.
Dinho lad
Nah his Everton side were good. Biggest knock is he rarely won against big sides, did he ever beat Liverpool? And no cup finals. For about 7 years he had a competitive side but he never managed a final. Pardew can barely keep a team going for a season and managed it twice. While Moyes was a better manager he's ultimately pointless. Lost 2-1 to Guus Hiddink's Chelsea.
Figures 1-0 Football
Excellent, just in time for a new manager bounce against us. Yay.
jdckelly
Allerdyce seems the blindingly obvious replacement, not sure who else would be better for what the WBA board is looking for (ie survival no matter the football)
Guest neesy111
How can people criticise this sacking? 2 wins in 21, that would get most managers the sack (minus you know who).
t_c16
Excellent, just in time for a new manager bounce against us. Yay. We deserve to go down if Gary Megson has a new-manager-bounce against us.

Kimbo
Pardew is going to find himself employed soon enough at this rate, if he doesn't get WBA it'll be Swansea.

UncleBingo
Any of you lot lucky enough to watch Megson play in a black and white shirt? Up there with Heard and Askew among the worst players I've seen play for us, utter garbage.
