Fair play to Bournemouth for not pushing the panic button a few weeks ago when they lost to Gary O'Neil's Wolves at home. I could see them having a decent season from here.

Massively helped by Everton being deducted points though, and thus looking comfortably safe so far.

Aye.

Althoufh the weakness of the bottom 3 would have calmed their nerves. And they really backed him in the summer.

Does sound extremely concerning, don’t beat Man U 5-0 and that’s that, do we think?

I've been saying questions need to be asked and no one's listening. This is what happens.

Think it would be outrageous if they were to sack him, assuming he's not the mastermind behind their recruitment. They've got some really promising players but most of their signings have been - in today's market - cheap punts, and he's done a hell of a job making them so competitive.

If he doesn’t go by Friday, won’t this be the first time we have got to December with a manger being sacked

I think clubs are maybe starting to wise up to the fact that changing managers isn't the silver bullet they think it is and possibly to an extent it once was. You can't just get in a relegation specialist anymore. See Leeds last season.

And promoted teams these days need to expect there's a good chance they're going straight back down as they don't have the resources to compete. Instead you might need to go down with a view to coming back up and having a better shot at it next time.

Boils down to do you think you have the right man or not. If so stick with him.
