Massive red flags from Sheffield United fans like, they went for Selles as they wanted to go for a new type of methodology, with the owners wanting to invest in data and AI insights for a "forward thinking" approach. To then scrap that entire plan after barely a couple of months, is hilariously inept

Bournemouth fans must be frightened at the prospect of Iraola being poached.

Should be transfer window for managers as well. Absolutely not right that Bournemouth could lose their manager just cause Man U are shite.

Would be fine to sack your manager, but can then only get a 'free agent'

Is Amorim actually under genuine pressure of getting sacked? They've thrown £200m+ at the final third and I'm led to believe the fans love the gormless fucker. Is this all genuine or a kneejerk to another spanking at the weekend?

Just now, The Butcher said:

Not if Man Utd want to be a force again. Neither are good enough imo.

None of those managers would make them a force again. All of them but Southgate would improve them though

Which is exactly what we don't want

They better not do a Spurs and hire someone unflashy but competent.

Men don’t come any flashless and seemingly competent than Southgate. They should take him before someone else does.

Been having a read of redcafe because it's fun and as far as I can tell the consensus on there is lovely bloke (though that's wearing thin) who isn't up to it and it's the end of the road.

Maintain Southgate is the type of person who could probably do alright there. He's never gonna pull up any trees tactically and won't return them to the top, but the culture there still just seems to stink, and his track record is in manifesting turnarounds in that area.

I've just happened across the Scottish Premier League table.

Must say that I thought, as a vegan Buddhist, Russel Martin would struggle to win over the Rangers fans and it would end in tears, but I didn't expect him to have such an appalling start.

These lines were casually thrown in at the end of a BBC Football article about Mouriniho potentially taking over at Benfica:-

The move to part company with Lage coincides with Benfica preparing for their presidential election on 25 October.

Joao Noronha Lopes, favourite to win the election, has his sights set on Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim and was at Etihad Stadium on Sunday to watch Portuguese.

Costa said the decision to make a managerial change is not motivated by his attempt to get re-elected.

Is it possible that Amorim is engineering a payoff at Man Utd with a eye on a return to the easy life in Portugal?

He needs to, he's not suited to the Premier league and TBF Man Utd is in such a mess he probably wont get the opportunity or time to put it right.

He had them swimming in Loch Lomond earlier in the week so that'll sort them.
