Or we can pretend that didn't happen and he really wanted Spurs and didn't reject them initially but only decided to go once there was nobody left.

He clearly just didn't want to commit to a permanent move to Spurs right away, and preferred a loan for now.

If that goes well I imagine a permanent transfer will be agreed in the summer.

If anything he used you to get Spurs to agree a loan.

You got rejected for Spurs man. Deal with it.

I'm not pleased with the injury for him, but wouldn't say I'm sad with how he threatens others with serious injuries via his tackles.

Just feels like a perfect amount of karma.

As a player myself who's had two ACL's, i wouldn't wish it on anyone, with a hint of what @Shak said thrown in, for anyone who's done anything horrendous on purpose.

4 of them offside, imagine the cartel would have a field day without VAR !

Just like the old days pre-VAR. I can remember how favoured by refs ManU were, just how many controversial 'goals' they scored late in games. That's why VAR is necessary and just improved application.

Or perhaps VAR should only be used when ManU are playing?

I mean VAR shouldn’t even come into the equation - that’s just absolutely dogshit refereeing.  The linesman must be blind.  I’m convinced that VAR is making them worse.

Classic Old Trafford decision. One of the few times you’re grateful for VAR when you see the officials reverting back to the 90s/00s norm at Old Trafford and Anfield.

Tbf there were some really shocking offside decisions before VAR, and they still get it right most of the time without intervention. We have to accept that some horror calls like this will happen without VAR, like that used to happen way more often before. They just get more attention now that they have lots of replays to correct them, so our expectations are understandably much higher.

I agree that the favourite six gets these decisions way more often than other teams.

It’s from a free kick anarl, not some rapid counter attack when the lino and ref might be struggling to keep up with a fast moving situation at the end of a match

They’re both stood stationary in a perfect position waiting for a dead ball to be crossed in and neither of them sees 4/5 red shirts all stood offside ?

Aye right. Fucking loaded dice man
